I remember hearing that Tencent didn't really interfere with the development at all, but who knows.
As for people leaving, Chris Wilson left some time ago, with the most recent departure being Rory Rackham, the Lead Game Designer.
interfering or not, something is going on otherwise all the OG's wouldnt jump ship right before or right after their big new game

Should this vision persist, I'd jumpship
`Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL
`What are divs?`

Who knows. But typically, the fish rots from the head.

I can’t speak to the claim that “so many devs are leaving,” but Rory Rackham’s departure is absolutely noteworthy — and also very concerning.
There’s a reason Nintendo consistently produces generational games like BOTW and TOTK: their developer turnover rate is under 4%. They protect continuity. They protect vision.
Turnover is the fastest way to derail a project. When the people who understand the why behind the design leave, the boat starts sinking fast.
This is the only reply necessary.
Stupid people never lose an argument.
