The Vision is TRASH.

For every person complaining there are probably 5 people enjoying themselves. We also know that this is a regular phenomenon with human beings - people are far more likely to drop in and leave a comment when they have something negative to say than something positive. That said, GGG does need to pay attention to the new player experience, make the campaign bosses a little bit easier with regards to their defences / resistances, and imo completely get rid of respec costs to encourage experimentation instead of spreadsheet gameplay and build guides

I shouldn't have to go full lock-in mode in the campaign. This isn't dark souls, this isn't a fighting game. This isn't even Devil May Cry. This is supposed to be a fun arpg. Nobody wants that kind of stressful non-stop vigilant gameplay. If they did, the Hardcore option when creating a character is right there.

If a player dies to a boss in act 2 like 10 times and quits out of frustration because they are literally soft-locked and can't progress or farm gear, that is a failure of the game's design. And for every person that has voiced their reason for quitting, there are 30 more who are silently uninstalling.

In conclusion, PoE 2 Bad.

Maybe it was because I didn't get to play properly until after the first round of mob nerfs but the campaign is an utter snooze-fest now, the only bosses that gave me any trouble at all were jamanra and viper (but only until I remembered about the shield wall)

* And the druid in grim tangle but he is one of the optional ones so I don't really count those, I mean of the bosses that gate progress

So are you an addict or something? Or your only realisarion in life is through games namely PoE?

If you don't like it just don't play it is not an argument. The Vision is TRASH and I agree with everything op wrote, your counterpoint?

I'm not arguing here. I'm trying to uderstand people who don't like the game (mostly using words like "trash", "unplayable" or "waste of time") but can't force themselves to stop and do something else.

"If you don't like it just don't play it" is not an argument but actual solution.

Only if it comes with a refund for EA supporters.
I just wanna say that there's no way in hell you can get from 99 to 100 in just 160 maps in PoE2. No fucking way. Unless it's super juicy untainted paradises, I guess.

It was bad in PoE1, but at least you could get some Alva's memories (the ones with +100% exp gain) and run in back to back as long as you want. But in PoE2 it's close to impossible. Even without exp penaly on death it's something I would never attempt. Doing maps and watching you exp bar standing still feels like shit. Actualy it was one of my recent posts.
The way campaign should be played by your second and any subsequent characters: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3772827

I think you should. You're playing an action RPG. But people like you, who are asking for campaign nerfs, will turn the campaign into a boring slog if GGG is going to listen to you.

It is a fun ARPG. It's just not fun for you. I want the gameplay to matter at all times. And looking at the numbers, you might even be in the minority.

Guess what, the gameplay doesn't matter right now because this game is boring and bad. And it will never achieve this impossible illusion the devs are chasing of "meaningful combat" because that is a contradiction to what this game is. And because stuff like archnem and breach, ritual etc. exist lmao

Can't have "meaningful combat" when combos do literal negative damage and its better to use auto-attack, and monsters move at 200 km/h while the player has permanent slow-motion activated.

Also campaign is already a boring slog lmao
