"Game too hard" or "Too boring" and the famous "Not enough loot"

"
- There is no loot in POE1
- There is no loot in POE2
- Currency is not loot
- Gambling with extra steps in POE1 and POE2 is not "crafting"

Personally, I'm enjoying the new patch. People need to understand that Poe and Poe 2 are two different games and their development process is completely different. There's still a lot of content to be added to Poe 2, and I'm eager to see what's next. ^^

I've forgotten all about it after playing LE the last couple days.

What a great game it is!

Lol I'm exactly in that condition the last 2 days as well.
"It's too hard" "There's not enough loot" how about ITS NOT FUN TO PLAY. I put 200 hours into 0.1 and had a blast, haven't gotten past 100 hours in Hunt and the game just feels like a complete slogfest. They should double down on the game being difficult, at least then it wouldn't be boring
like most ssf player u play the game slowly, probably minion player and spend few hours in each act that why you play in ssf because the economy shift to fast for you, calling lack of skill is a big joke :D

The game definitely is way easier for ranged character vs melee, I do think melee could take a buff. Especially if the ascendency is going to use the trash Sanctum system.

Otherwise, I do love how the game plays in terms of differentiating itself from POE1

Completely agree, GGG not listening to the whiners is why i have been playing poe for 10+ years, may it continue.

Literally every good change in PoE1 came from the community complaining and refusing to play leagues. Chris got so upset about how everything he tried to add got nerfed into irrelevance or outright removed that he went on his Ruthless crusade. Which flopped. So he sold off the company and now spends his time collecting Magic Cards and going to tournaments for fun.
Dear player, I respectfully disagree with you:
"

GGG, please don’t listen 100% to these players who lack skill, introspection, and run from the slightest challenge ("the game is too hard"), patience, or sense of reward ("not enough loot"), and who are completely blinded by nostalgia ("Diablo 1 and 2 were the best, PoE 1 facerolling screen cleaning").

If GGG shouldn’t listen 100% to feedback, then what's the point of collecting feedback at all? Ignoring criticism even if it comes from less experienced players can be just as dangerous as blindly following it
"

Please — even if perfection doesn’t exist (though you're getting really close!) — stick to the vision you already have. You are very close to the right balance.

Perfection? Honestly, the game is not even close yet. It feels like a slog in many areas. For example, dodge roll often fail to work properly in end-game scenarios. If you manage to build a strong slam character, it might feel "okay," but even then, combat is sluggish and heavily punishes slow responses. You often get surrounded and overwhelmed before you can even react properly.

There are a lot of interesting build combinations and I really love that but most of them are barely viable or require massive investment to function, and with the current loot system, that’s not realistically achievable for most players
"

As a SSF Hardcore player, I’ve been having a blast since early access began. I get loot at a reasonable pace, feel pure joy when I find something really good, and I’m regularly challenged — with just the right amount of sweat here and there.

Yeah, a lot of people had a blast and eventually reached end-game during the 0.1.0x versions, but in 0.2.0x, it's a very different story.

Pretty much this, the community made PoE great, if GGG makes a game without feedback and on their own, you'll end up with PoE2

Soooo true, hit the nail on the head. Ruthless...lol, what a PERFECT example of how trash "the vision" is.
