I thought the new LE league was going to destroy poe2?
" poe2 has been more popular and successful then poe1 ever has been and ever will be. poe2 has made the devs more money in 5 months then poe1 did in 13 years. poe2 is not failing. you will not have poe1.5. you need to come up with a new blackmail because your LE cope has failed.
" That's just like...your opinion man. |
|
" It sure is, and so is OP. |
|
" In any sentence say that I quit this league to play LE? poe2 is more popular or making more money than poe1 or LE then who cares? league is bad patch is bad i quit. there are 1000 games that more fun than the current state of poe2 something like LoL, tft, valorant etc. do you think everyone plays only 1 game? |

Nobody cares if you quit. In fact we want you to. We also want you to quit posting on the forums trying to dumb the game down and turn it into something nobody wants.

I think all the hype about Last Epoch people are going on about is just like all the hype people were going on about with Bless Online.
I was playing BDO back then and there was a group of people that were mad at that game because there is always some group of people that are mad about something for every game. But ya, Bless came out and a lot of players went and played it, all the BDO streamers migrated over to it and tried to sell it as if it was the greatest game ever. They completely ignored the game breaking issues the game had and tried to pretend that the bugs were rare bugs that didn't happen very much. Like the thing where whenever you crossed into a new area, your game would freeze for like 20-30 seconds while the new area was loaded and sometimes your game would crash. It was rare though, it only happened every time you entered a different part of the world...which was a pretty common thing you would do...so maybe not that rare... But hey, Bless Online had all that being a game that had failed multiple times in multiple regions before coming to the west hype. Kinda like LE has all that having 2K-4K average players for the last 8 months hype. Cause everyone knows the best games are the ones that everyone knows about, but no one plays. They reworked the sentinel and made a few other little changes, but it is still the same fundamentally boring game that no one wanted to play before its latest patch and it'll be back to 2K-4K players soon enough. To be honest I don't really care about the drama between the two games. I grew up as an ARPG player, but really stopped playing them consistently around when D3 was relevant. I found the "dash, clear screen, dash, clear screen, dash clear screen, one shot the boss, rinse, repeat" style of gameplay really boring, so I moved on to other genre's. Right now I'm really liking POE2 because it is different than other ARPG's and if it stays different, I'll continue to play it. If not, then I'll go back to playing games I was playing before POE2 EA started. Right now it reminds me of the original D2 before LoD, before charms, before runewords and when it was hard. When the bosses were there to try to kill you and not just be slot machines and pinatas. If POE2 stays different, I personally think it will attract a lot of people like me back to genre who gave up on ARPG's because they became too easy and wanted something that was a challenge. And as for the difficulty of the game, I was born blind in my left eye and I have limited vision in my right eye and I have no issues with the difficulty. I have been playing HC SSF and have a character on the list that died at 82 I think. With that character I was in the decay map, which is a map I have a really hard time seeing where you can walk and what is inaccessible because of my vision issues and I got in over my head doing an excavation, tried to run to a safe spot to be in a better position to fight and I ended up running into a corner, got overwhelmed and died. The next character I had was a 76 which I was rushing to get up to the level my first character was and I overextended, backed myself into a corner, got overwhelmed and died. None of that was the game being unfair and was me making mistakes that cost me my HC progress. Now I have a 74 that I am currently on and I'm going to do things smarter this time...until I don't and then I will start the next story of how I died. But the point is for anyone who is complaining about not being able to get through the campaign, it is not the game that is holding you back, because I am pretty much blind and I can do it with relative ease, so it is not the game that is hold anyone back from being able to do it. And I'm sure someone will say it is not difficulty that they are complaining about, but it is that they are bored. Everyday, there is a new post of someone saying they can't get through the campaign and trying to blame the game for their failure and that is who I am saying the game is not holding back. If your complaint is that the game is boring for you, then play something that isn't boring for you. I have a lot of friends that play WoW and wanted me to play it with them. I tried it and found it boring and then after a while, I gave it another try and still found it boring. I didn't go to the Blizzard forums and demand they change the game because I don't like doing M+ and raiding. I looked for a game that focused on open world content and when I found GW2, I said this game was made for people like me and I played it. To this day, Blizzard still does not know that I disapprove of how they choose to run WoW and the game has not died if you can believe that. |

Damn even someone who can barely see out of one eye is having no problem playing the game. Whats your guys' excuse?
Nice post I agree with all you said
" let's see if dev gonna listen to us or you :D |
|
" I keep reading that, “our” game. As if GGG cares what you think or mean. It's not your game, you have no ability to change it or influence it. Get a life! |

Don't compare casual players to hardcore players. If you like hard, they can bring a ruthless league. Or they can update the hardcore mode. The purpose of the season is not to appeal to a handful of people, but to target the global. Everyone like you paid money to own this game. And they have at least as much right to criticize as you do. If you calculate it based on Steam sales alone, a 4-month-old game has lost 80% of its players. Ha ha ha, it's sad that it's being used like a rag in the hands of players who are trying to satisfy their egos by saying who did it the hard way.
