Loot Drops are unrewardingly low

THIS. Doing t15s, 100%+ rarity on gear, spamming map after map, getting like 2 rares and some transmutes per map. Loot is TERRIBLE. What are we playing the game for if no loot is dropping?

Loot is literally worse then in ruthless in poe1.

GGG nerfs MFing and MF strats in preparation for 0.2.

0.2 Players: "Not enough loot, even when I have X amount of rarity, wtf"

You can afford Rarity on your gear now, because it is worth less. You can do the strats now, because there are none. You got what you asked for.

Dont know why you are gaslighting everyone here, I never heard once complain about loot being too high and too much loot dropping. The complaint was too many useless rares, 99% of the loot drop was trash. Now theres not even any loot.

Be a bit more nuanced in your reply, dont be an ass.

This definitely isn't what I asked for. They were supposed to nerf MF and then compensate by increasing drops for everyone.
Ran a loot party tonight. 4 overlapping towers with 6% quant irridated + breach tablets, and all points in waystones and precursor explicits, and 4 points in breach w/host having ~180 MF. dropped over a div worth of loot per map easily and consistently.

So, the rules are the same as last time but i would be shocked if the drop rates were not just simply cut in half from last league and no change in the effects of rarity sub 200%. If you ran hundreds of hours in endgame last league and then a hundred in the endgame of the current league, this seems fairly obvious.

the problem about it is simple.

If u can rush to endgame - every item is Cheap , compared to 1 week later.

People who cant invest this time in the first week, get stuck in a whole.

Act2/3 Cruel to Maps t9, are the biggste downfall of every ARPG , id ever seen.

No Loot, No Currency to Gamblecraft Blue items, or something else.

Prices on the (EXTERN)Market are explode, because the Zoomers are up there and fixing the prices - Asian Botfarmer and Divinesellers, pushing also the prices.


Now u must pay 1 Divine for a shit rare item, that no one every would touch in the first place ( Rings / amulets ) .

But normal items with 30 Resistance and some life and mana - 5 Divine ...
But thats okay... this game should not be balanced arround a Extern market.

But it seems like this. Rearly u got own Items for Progression. U need the items from the market.

Using Ex on Items is a gambling waste. U are better off, saving them , to got a chance to buy an item in a few days.
Regals are used for maps - because no alchemys are dropping.
So u cant Use regals for blue items....

In poe1, there where times, this shit also happend. But u got League mechanics Offmaps, so u can farm there, to sell it.
This time, u got only Trials

Delirium is only for Strong builds
Ritual is not for every build - Strong builds suggested
Expedition is okay - but the selline prices are to low atm, because Recombinator needs a buff
Essence - Yeah this need to be testet, after they are more common

Summary - If u got fast to high Tier maps, u feel that the loot is nerfed.
But u can play and run fast, so u print money.

If u are not fast in High tier maps, u are fucked ... Harder than ever before.
It is not just loot drops are low, there are no good items in game, if you search trade website for items with 3 good affixes, you will find almost none, with 4 good affixes non at all.

BIS items would be 5-6 perfect affixes, well divined.

No good items ingame because your chances of crafting one is NULL as is finding it from the ground.

The knowledge and time/work to get these kinds maps going only to get some sort of loot is ridiculous. Imagine a "normal/casual" player trying to set this up, they will give up halfway already.

I am pretty sure GGG are dependent on a wider playerbase to finance PoE2. At the current state I feel like the majority are giving up before endgame even begins and those who get there give up short thereafter.

In D4 loot rains on you from lvl 1. In PoE 2 you get no loot whatsover. There must be some sort of middleground.
