Not really a positive or negative post —just sharing my thoughts after watching the video. I noticed they were making judgments pretty quickly, and in my experience, waiting a bit and picking up some damage nodes really changed the experience for me.
That said, you make an interesting point. I’m not really advocating for anything specific, just communicating what GGG said in the interview about gear, passives, and their design philosophy. Given your point, and in the spirit of constructive dialogue, could you suggest some ways damage could be obtained that the devs could consider?
Nobody cares about your thoughts on videos. Either post feedback relative to the game, or piss off.

As a side note, I also suspect that some streamers are expecting “zoom-zoom” gameplay because they’ve been conditioned by other games. PoE2 is its own game—leave your expectations at the door. That said, it’s totally fair to feel like it’s too slow or lacking in damage right now. Just keep in mind that it’s designed differently.
Some of the streamers you are talking about quite literally play the game for a living and have well over 10,000 hours experience..
Give "10,000 hours" a google.
Just because your experience differs to someone else's, does not negate their experience, both theirs and yours can be valid simultaneously.

from a casual player perspective..
the game is ass
nothing feels good
casuals (who make up the vast majority of gaming) are not going to be bothered by "multipliers" and any other technical mathmatical mumbo jumbo,.. they just want to find cool shit and blast things which this game is sorely lacking at the moment,. specially in campaign.
as a life long gamer.. the game is ass

Absolutely agree with the post.
One more thing I noticed with ZiZ interview - He is used to leverage his knowledge to beat the game (PoE1), while new players can't handle this much complexity and suffer. Now we are on even grounds as PoE 2 by design aims to be more understandable and simply, aiming more in actual gaming. And that's a great approach.
Also things like movement skills (flame dash + Quicksilver) was the main reason i quit PoE 1... I am SO HAPPY these things aren't here, SO HAPPY!
Monsters should swarm me, it's fun! Combat shouldn't be optional exactly as Jonathan mentioned. Look at the PoE 1 state of the game - You play the minimap and barely look on screen. That's exactly what happens if game gets too easy.
I'm loving the PoE 2 direction and only those who wants PoE 1 reskin, they still complain instead of approach this as a new game.
Give it a year or two of leagues and you will be crying out for faster movement and more damaging abilities.
People need to realise this is NOT a one and done game.
This is going to have many leagues and each league you are going to have to slog through the campaign again and again.
I'm not saying it should be easy, I like the difficulty of the bosses, but we all want this game to succeed and if they don't change their attitude towards movement and clear, this game will die quickly.

I think there is something here. I just found some boots that give me up to 40% move speed, and I have to admit it felt pretty good :)
Not sure if this hurts monsters too much and makes them optional but maybe just speed everything up a notch without overdoing it might be the go?

That answer in response to monster speed was head scratching. Jonathan actually thinks players would just run past enemies to complete a map. Wtf?
Not maps, I dont think.
Sounded more like Jonathan was afraid players might skip fights during the campaign to get to the endgame faster - and I totally would.
Most of the loot drops from rare mobs and bosses anyways, why fight trash mobs if your character is fine XP-wise?
