I had a horrible experience with loot in general on leaguestart. Even picking up and salvaging socketed items that would drop, I still had maybe 1 artificer orb every 2 acts. Not to mention I could barely find any items with just ONE mod I needed

it's an arpg, and if you still don't realize it's all about the rng factor then I suggest you should go play something else.

I don't watch the man's streams at all but I can clearly see it can happening, and it will happen way too often way you start a fresh run and then that character just won't see any loot that can actually be decent for until much much later some times.

The real issue might be how weak some characters are relative to others. For example, fire-based sorceress. She needed the wolves to slow down. Have you tried playing any of the bad classes? If you're just playing Amazons, you are getting a narrow picture.

i played every class last ladder, and all the new ones this ladder across accounts.

Even when everyone said bloodmage was absolute garbage, I made a good blood mage with bonestorm and cage, which nobody was playing since everyone was following streamer DD spam.

I completed whatever content I threw at it. Maybe don't over generalize because the truth doesnt line up with your personal experience and focus on why your personal experience doesnt match up with reality.

If you look at stats in aggregate, especially hardcore stats, you'll see. Basically nobody succeeds with infernalist, for example. If you've literally played every class, you're putting way more time into a game than I am willing or able to. "Possible" and "feasible" are not the same thing, and your personal experience is just one data point among hundreds of thousands.

Infernalist is good. It was extremely overpowered in 0.1.0, it is still good now.
It just isn't exciting as far as options go.

So... Yeah. The data shows people don't know how to play, rely on streamers, if a streamer isnt playing it they wont play it.

One of the best builds in breach was using realm ender self cast discharge.
Want to know how many people were using it? none.

I believe you. But don't you see that you are saying that it is possible to create great and unusual builds if you no-life the game? That's a lack of balance. Clearing a campaign shouldn't require you to play PoE2 as a full time job. Pinnacle bosses, sure. But you're describing that you succeeded at achieving basic goals because you put in more effort than 99.9% of players.
