I want an explanation from the developers!

I'm on Nvidia 4090 I could not play game since new updated, disconnecting all the time and my FPS did spike a lot.
Yesterday I did switch from DX12 to Vulkan not even one disconnect since then and my FPS are average 120FPS on max setting no more spikes in frames or performance drops.

game update or driver?
what you described there is the exact scenario i mentioned where deleting the shader cache fixes the issue. its been like that for me for like 3-4 years in poe1, a patch will come along and the shaders causes crashes till i purge the folder.
A 6600 is not a high end video card. Especially so an 8GB VRAM card. This is a mid-low range card from multiple generations back. And POE2 is early access for a next generation game. I'm not sure what you're expecting here.

it is an ARPG.. if it cannot run on a mid end it woulf be a disaster. That said.. I have no performance problems with my 3060? The secret? I do not update my drivers without real reason. My drivers are almost 1 year old and do not have the problems people report.

I did try lots of stuff and many drivers Nothing did work.
at the moment I'm using 566.36 any newer driver is shit
so with this driver game works but only in Vulkan in DX12 I was disconnecting every 5-10min
If anyone would go back with Drivers I recommend to use DDU.

I'm on 11 Gen i9 11900K
The issue with your own hardware is important, but until the servers are fixed there will be tons of lag spikes created by server overload and not by the client pc.
Impatience is insatiable.
That's why your game doesn't slow down :) you have excellent processors.
