this is about to make me quit. I reached t15 maps but the light stun is insane. I only die to this shit, it prevents you to do anything for a second, sometimes you get chain light stunned. They need to do something about this asap.
Stun build up map mod is currently unplayable as well, it's just an another brick mod, we are almost out of mods to be able to do maps at this point. We can't do stun buildup, we can't do ignited ground, what is this. | |
" That is not true. The rares and bosses obviously stun you harder. You are basically asking them to remove white mobs from the game because your build lacks the DPS to clear them, and the defence to withstand them. It's a nonsense argument. |

" I am fresh out of 4 day campaign in a T1 white map. My defenses are to step out of attack range if i get hit once or twice and reposition. With no stun on White trash mobs I have no issues. I step back from incoming dmg and clear them. Bosses are in maps to give you boss loot. They have Boss HP, Boss abilities, Boss attack speed, Boss chance to stun you if you fail to avoid its attacks. Rares are in map to give you rare loot. They have Rare HP, Rare abilities, Rare chance to stun you if you fail to avoid its attacks. White trash mobs are in the game to fill the space between Bosses and rares. They have White trash mob HP, No abilities. They serve the purpose to refill your flasks so that you have a better chance to kill the Rares and Bosses. What purpose does a stun serve on a White trash mob? Why is it there ?!?!? " Defence means a stat that gives you something. If you have no block (with stun threshold and armour) or evasion (with HP and movespeed), if you have no stun charm, no way to avoid stuns at all, then when something hits you, it hurts, and it staggers you. If it didn't, then all we would need to do to solve the entire game is stack effective HP and elemental resist. You can also ignore all this, by having a build that has a way to kill all of the small mobs trying to surround you before they can get their hits off, and playing with good positioning/ very carefully against ranged. |

" Why is Melee so bad in maps ? Because the risk of being in melee is VERY HIGH! Light stun Heavy stun Freeze Shock Ignite Bleed Poison Corrupted blood Chilled Electrocuted Blinded Maimed Impaled Exposure Regen penalties Scorched Pinned Hindered Hobbled Knocked back Volatility Charges stolen Armor Broken To play melee comfortably you have to deal with all of this. Unless you can Leap slam into a mob pack from distance, stun them or IMMEDIATELY Dodge Roll, because if you get hit, chances are that something for the list above will be applied and stun you in the middle of that pack. Just look how the melee streamers play. LS + DR + 1 attack on REPEAT. If you cant do that, it immediately feels JANK and Clunky. Remove the stun and that will remove the Clunkiness from melee. Is it really absolutely necessary to have stun on White trash mobs? Look at Count Geonor A1 Boss. Love the fight. He can free you, slow you, stun you, push you, impale you and push you into a wall and freeze you there . All well telegraphed and dodgable. Hate the Fing shit out of the white mobs that spawn in the fog phase to help you get the flasks back because instead of doing that THEY FING STUN YOU!!!! It ruins the whole fight. I refuse to believe that GGG cant come up with creative ways for us to interact with White trash mobs outside of them stunning us and us trying avoid that. Seriously ... Examples Shield charge skill that gathers all the mobs in your path and slams them into a wall - A1 Boss impale skill. Vall Cyclone type skill that gathers mobs up and lets you throw them out in a chosen direction dealing collision dmg. Can be collided with other packs. Sapper Charge skill that sticks an explosive on a mob with a timer + Explosive Kick skill that lets you kick that target in whatever direction you choose. Combos, Set ups, all doable if you DONT GET STUNNED BY WHITE TRASH MOBS. Bosses are in maps to give you boss loot. They have Boss HP, Boss abilities, Boss attack speed, Boss chance to stun you if you fail to avoid its attacks. Rares are in map to give you rare loot. They have Rare HP, Rare abilities, Rare chance to stun you if you fail to avoid its attacks. White trash mobs are in the game to fill the space between Bosses and rares.
