Dear GGG, please dont ruin this game, we love it.

'Slow and methodical' will never work in an arpg let alone poe.
The arpg genre is about feeling yourself become extremely powerful over your progression (screen clearing maps, using strong builds).

Trying to slow the game down and make it more into dark souls goes against the nature of the game and the nature of the genre, clicking on 1 white mob with 4 different abilities just to do half damage isnt fun.

I understand that 1-shotting pinnacle bosses is too much, i understand that the absolute TOP builds had to be nerfed but this is too much.

The enjoyment most people get from playing poe is getting stronger, theorycrafting and gearing.

Having to kill enemies in 10 seconds, and then later 4 seconds is not getting stronger, its just slightly less tedious.

If the game continues in this direction i am very worried, i hope alot of these changes get reverted and that consider what this vision' might cost them.

no
its not funny, when everyone with a strong build can kill everything in "ms" or seconds.

the economy will be destroyed
You said twice, you understand. You don't understand anything. Slow and methodical does work.[Removed by Support]

I feel like this is the mindset of people that seem to praise this "slower" gameplay. The idea of YOU personally being slow and invest not as much time as the hardcore grinders while not being punished for it. The economy still will be destroyed, it still will be without you. Chase items still will cost hundrets and thausend of divines, blasters still will go through the campain 100 times faster then you. Nothing changes but the gameplay...
For people like you there is PoE 1. Go and play that.
Translation:‌
"Why did some of my gems disappear after modifying my talents? I originally had one 'Resist Darkness' gem and three 'Grand Spectrum Emerald Cloud' gems. Now only one 'Grand Spectrum Emerald Cloud' remains. Did the system accidentally consume the other two gems?"

‌Key Notes‌:
‌Fluency‌: Adjusted phrasing to sound natural in English (e.g., "disappear" instead of literal "eaten").
‌Terminology‌:
"力抗黑暗" → "Resist Darkness" (consistent with prior translation).
"巨光譜翠綠碧雲" → "Grand Spectrum Emerald Cloud" (retains the gem's thematic name).
‌Clarity‌: Explicitly states the loss (1 missing "Resist Darkness" and 2 missing "Grand Spectrum" gems).
Let me know if further refinements are needed!

Care to show us a "slow and methodical" ARPG that has worked?
GGG doing great job! I love idea of arpg with paying attention to combat, movement and bosses. We need just more rewarding gear and drops and work on balance. Hope they will keep this ideas to full release and POE2 will not become "press 2 skills to kiil them all". But this idea comes with own price. Difficult game is very hard to be mainstream. Souls-likes mastering this idea trough 5 games(( Best wishes to GGG team.

Would love to but the devs decided this dumpster fire is more important
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.
