did you read the patch notes? there they explained how to recover your gems

What's interesting to me is that this is even required. How hard is it to script a command to autorun the first time a character logs into standard again after the patch? Or to simply make a new temporary tab in their stash called LOST GEMS and it auto-move the character gems there?

I read the patch notes, but in an age where people get stuck watching 30s videos ad nauseum you gotta know most of these guys aren't gonna read 50 pages of notes.
Well it's been a ride. A very nice one.

But since you (GGG Team) don't care, and I (we) care too much there is only one solution to this.

For me it's a STOP.

Wishing you good reading and hope you remember that games are for players to enjoy. Don't hate the players, h/change the game :)

PS: If you feel the same, just "up" the post from time to time..

Thank you

Only GGG can take .1, which was regarded as having a good foundation, but needed some tuning and work in the endgame, and then turn .2 into a tragic mess, which now has a rotten foundation, AND STILL needs tuning and work, only instead of the endgame, its the whole damn game.
Yeah. People need to vote with their time and their wallet.

If the patch is trash, don't play it for 50 hours hoping for a midpatch emergency change. Just drop it.

Yep. GGG is so out of touch that they will absolutely think if a lot of people/streamers are still playing the game, they will think it's in a good state. That is corporate gaming company levels of thinking.

The sooner people realize this, the sooner GGG will actually change the game for the better.

Of course we can just quit playing

Yeah already did that after running map after map after map, all rare, and getting away with MAYBE 1 rare drop and an exalt per map, absolute trash.

The icing on the shit cake was attempting Trial of sekhema 3 floors, noticing that they made it harder in almost every way, giving mobs a range of new bullshit attacks and also seemed to have sped them up in terms of action speed. This ended with 3 pots (Not the mobs, actual pots) blocking my way, and ofcourse lightning spear just ignores them and goes through, so while i franticly try to "click" them to break them one by one, i ultimately get pancaked from both sides and die.

Me being a fairly experienced player had no issue with the trials last season, but clearly a huge part of the community did, and what's your response? nerf the player in a multitude of ways and make the trials harder. What a joke.

Oh right, you nerfed the floor 4 boss HP by half, great, then you made sure most people will never get there anyway, hillarious.

Bye bye, was fun, or was it really?
I agree with the fact that this game is too hard.

I don't mind a difficulty available for those players who like it.

But I - and I am sure there are a lot of other players like me, too - also want to have 'my' difficulty level.

Isn't it just possible to make different difficulty levels by scaling the damage you receive?

Then there would be a level for everyone! And everyone would be happy!

I am not here to play to show off. I am here to play for fun.

We all have to work hard for or life and in leisure time we want to have our time
spent well! But this can only be achieved by using the leisure time as we like!

Make different difficulty levels, and everyone will be happy!
I truly hope you read this because it comes from the bottom of my heart. We love games me you every one, and that's why we play them . Old games, and even some older mid-tier games, are still fun. Why? Because they focus on what really matters: giving you enjoyment. They don't try to control your every action like some modern games do. This isn’t real life, where everything is controlled. In games, you're free and to have fun.

I say this a lot because it's what we all seekfun. So, how do we achieve that? It’s simple. Look at the old games why they succeed. Why do people still play them? They don't force you into specific actions or bad ideas. They let you have fun without overcomplicating things, they play the game.

Take Overwatch 2 as an example. It was a top game at one point, but then the creators started making mistakes. They stopped listening to players, removed fun elements, and forced bad changes. When you don't listen to players and try to control everything, the game suffers.

On the other hand, look at Marvel Rivals. They left in the crazy, overpowered features that people loved. Yes, some things were unbalanced, but the players respected that. They knew what people wanted, and they gave it to them.

I'm writing this because I love games, and I want to keep enjoying them—not just for myself, but for everyone i hope the game will be fun.
Seems like a constructive thread so I'll put in a though or two.

I also have around 1000 hours into this game, as well as 3 lvl90+ characters and 3 more between 75 and 89. So I have a fair amount of experience. I built everything from an Acolyte of Chayula with real gear to a Gemling with all 200 divine worth of stat stacking gear (HOWA, Invictus, Pillar, Ingenuity, etc.); I have a spark sorcerer, a great blood mage minion build, a poison Pathfinder that uses a bow and not concoctions.

I have built and played practically every build possible, broken or not.

That said, the only thing I have found that is even remotely viable to run any of the juiced maps I premade before the patch is my Acolyte of Chayula monk running ice strike, and the only reason is the chip sustain from Into the Breach.

I fully expected my Gemling and my spark sorcerer to be nerfed, and I totally get the removal of the herald interaction, and nerfing the cross proc there. I get the development process as in my 30 years of gaming I have been through this a few times with other games, even working closely with the community as a community manager of sorts.

I'm not here to ignorantly demand roll backs or reversion, or anything like that.

I am here however to voice at least an agreement with what has been said on some level - albeit not everything.

I have 2 questions that will make a lot of this clear:

1. Are there any builds that can currently clear ALL content consistently and at least with relative ease?

This is important because, well, this is an ARPG. It's a shame that there are always classes that cannot clear all content in any ARPG, but I would be willing to bet NO classes could currently clear simulacrum on its highest difficulty. I struggled with that running a 250 divine Gemling Legionnaire (struggled as in, I could kill arbiter with my eyes literally closed, and still had to work for a simulacrum clear).

2. Is it reasonable that a build that could run a juiced T16 now cannot even clear a white T10?

My Acolyte is now my strongest character, because I built him with this scenario in mind and made sure that he was using only intended mechanics. But... I cannot clear a fully juiced T15 (most recent attempt I was 100 to 0 hit by some new rare that teleported on me and instantly exploded for over 6k damage).

Anyway, I'm sure this is all been said ad nauseum so have fun guys, and we are all in this together.

Stupid people never lose an argument.
