" The slowness u encounter at the very first entrance of the game has already turned many many people off, The game could have had way more people if the start of the game was not an absolute shitfest. People play ARPG to slay monsters not to pound on a white mob for 2-5 hits and even have to dodge them because a hit takes 1/3 of ur health pool at the very first entry of the game. Here is the thing, if they make monsters tougher and much less of them then you will get virtually zero loot from a 100 maps. You realistically get no loot from white mobs and only slightly higher from blue. The maps are massive meaning the sparsity of enemies will require you to search out said monsters killing them slow af. This translates to even more boring and less rewarding experience than it is now.
This patch instead or broadening the the meta has actually narrowed it to such a point when someone actually figures the builds that work there will be nobody left on the servers to give a shit. Real endgame is simply not going to happen for most players when the game is in this state. That is of course when players that don't want to quit will end up buying from RTMs. GGG (Tencent) need to reverse every single support gem nerf. They need to make every support gem relevant to some sort of build. More is not better when most do nothing or are for builds that don't work. They need to stop buff/nerf crap like it fires 2 extra projectiles but does 40% less damage just Fires 1 extra projectile and be done, doesn't need to be more and more convoluted. This "vision" bs is annoying. You are not creating a work of art, it is a product that requires customers to remain interested. It is a business not a liberal arts college project. Money from customers is not a given for people to do whatever the fk they like with. You are not visionaries, you are developers. What YOU and YOURS feels like is awesome is usually a vain attempt at self importance. Doubling down is an act of pride, it is a sign of weakness not strength. Trial and error is a very very expensive business model. You are not a government, these are not taxes you are wasting on vanity projects or modern art. If you want to create a vision do it with your own damn money and see how that turns out. Hire as many streamers as you like to big up your product but if the product is garbage all you will end up with is fanboi nobodies with empty bank account. Not enough to employ a skeleton crew to maintain servers. |

" Obviously you increase loot drops proportionately. No dev given two minutes to think would just cut one number without compensating with the other. It may take a hotfix or two to get the numbers right, though. |

" This. I had someone tell me i was bullshitting when i mentioned i logged / uninstalled within 30 minutes of starting game. Facts is , i could tell, it just wasnt (isnt*) like any ARPG (more specifically - hack n slash) i have ever played. Not to mention how far off the mark it is from POE1, all the while using POE1 content / mechanics ontop of the new mess. I made it into the zone jsut after the town, but the tell for me, was the first boss encounter. Nope. Im tired of these hack n slash games thinking bosses need to be a half hour event (yea, i know theres a 'slight' exaggeration here). Fuck that, im out. Nah, not my cup of tea at all. And i most definitely knew it within minutes. Im just glad i was invited free, as i would have been very dissapointed having had to spend money to discover the game is literally in the top tier of worst ARPG's (if it even fits this genre - again, i consider arpg's to be hack n slashes, traditionally, but this is an opinion ofc.)
