Sigh ... Disappointed Again. Took me only 4h to want to log out.
" Well you didnt miss much. The same builds that dominated before will dominate this time because those are the only ones that can survive. |

" I dont need anyone to lose their job. I need them to fix the game and not "next patch" either. The steam charts are reflecting the issue here. |
|
" Ehm at endgame where alot of builds were screen clearing in seconds, that was the issue. I dont recall early game being too easy. The game being slow is fine but the issue is monsters are not, they are still on crack and 24/7 on top of you while you only can run in circles and attack. So their design choices are all over the place. There is also no real good difficulty curve. Last edited by Crusher152#2587 on Apr 6, 2025, 12:04:41 AM

" I said the exact same thing in January and had the fanbois jumped all over me and GGG removed. Sadly Jonthan is out of touch with the player base, They attempted brutal mode in PoE1 and all the players revolted, they are trying again, just wrapping it with another sugary name. Sadly the current development team is highly out of touch with the player base, and do not understand that the current difficulty early in the game is going to drive players away in droves. I mean they have lost half the player base for PoE2 already in Dec / Jan there were 500,000+ People playing daily on steam, and as of now they are lucky to hit 300k |
|
" And that's where I stopped reading. Go back to PoE1 please. "Sigh"

3.26 is gonna bury poe2 as it is now

Agree 0.2.feels like trash

" Tencent is going to bury POE1 before it does that. They will take off all resources and put them on POE2. They put a lot of money in and they only see dollar signs. They could care less if its a good game. |

I'm honestly extremely bummed out by this whole thing. I had a blast leveling up a character in 0.1 into the 90s, and I had been looking forward to this patch for a long while. I figured it would be a great time, jumping back in and experiencing all the new changes.
I played for 3 hours yesterday and realized "wow, this feels terrible". I logged out. I decided to give it another try today. I lasted about an hour. It's just not fun to feel like your character has no power against anything. Clearing the giant story maps while your character feels like you're permanently fighting with a stick while stuck in mud is not conducive to a positive gaming experience. What a shame. |
