The Steam Store reviews are "tanking" a bit for the most recent ones...last I checked it says "mixed" for the "overview".

I get that they don't need all 500K for the game to succeed, but you are two days into the first major update. The major update failed to retain 60% of the interested players who purchased the game, and it's only day two. The "weekend push to 500K" people were coping about isn't happening either lol | |

They had so much stuff to change to get a good game. " They managed to reach a smaller launch playerbase for 0.2 than they did for Settlers, and all they had to do was neglect their money maker for a year. I expected them to reach 250-300k this time around, but they couldn't even get there and they didn't achieve the weekend bump they did last time (the peak was established on a Sunday). From a anecdotal pov, of the 29 people on my Steam friends that bought the game, there were 3 playing yesterday and 0 today, something absolutely unheard of for a PoE release. they need to add 6 portal.
- make it so dying does not reset the area and respawn all the monsters - bring back normal 6 portal same as POE1 - also if you die you should respawn at the nearest check point OR portal that you have opened - i would much rather see a easy difficulty curve during the campaign then a HARD STEAP curve when reaching maps. i want the campaign to be easy and fun and feel like you have power. at least for first time completion on that character. |
