Look, man, if you're having trouble seeing things, adjust your brightness and gamma settings. That's a VERY clearly defined evil looking red rune on the ground and you're just standing in it at low level with no gear on. The game has issues, sure, but you standing in clearly defined mechanics that give you plenty of time to just walk away is up to you to figure out.

i'd say yeah you can avoid and you can survive but it's definitely not something that even experienced players are expecting.
i played poe1 since 2014 and i can tell. dying in act 1 area 1 was usually something that happened either in events where everything was mega overtuned (this was the point anyway) or in leagues where the mechanics should be not triggered until a bit later. here we just go through normal campaign and directly have the hardness level of what? i can't imagine this is intended, new players will leave after 10 minutes. now add in that clearfell crash. let's wait for the first hotfix :) |

skill issue or not, act 1, and particularly the first parts of it, should exist as a mere tutorial and even the worst players shouldn't be dying in the first part of the game unless they go afk in the middle of 3 monsters
