Good patch, but would love to see some monster speed changes for endgames.

Agree 100%.
Please, GGG, you have to slow down the monsters a lot.

You will never create a meaningful combat if there is no chance of outrunning the monsters and if they attack 17 times per second.

All the nerfs are fantastic.
It's better to increase power later if needed instead of allowing power creep from the get-go.

But you HAVE to nerf the monster speed for a good combat balance.

We love GGG don't we folks

Less and less with each passing patch lmao

Love the patch notes GGG. Big fan of the toning down of one button builds. Love the direction for hexblast too, being a hexblast gamer in first league. It was a boring spell, now it could actually be something fun. Excited about Lich and how it would complement ED Contagion maybe.

To anyone who doesn't approve of the nerfs, POE1 is already a one click game. I, at the very least, signed up for a slower paced game where I cast meaningful stuff. I didn't really enjoy 0.1.0 even though I reached endgame with multiple characters cus I had to gravitate towards 1 click stuff instead of meaningful spell rotations. I yearn for meaningful build choice and fun gameplay.

Oh, you didn't enjoy it cause you HAD to gravitate towards 1 click stuff? Really? Why did you HAVE to gravitate towards 1 click stuff? Is it because the game isn't actually slow and methodical? Cause the trash monsters aren't also playing slow and methodical? They're still playing by POE1 rules while the players are forced to play by POE2 rules?

Or is it because so many of the other skills were UNDERPOWERED relative to the 1 click stuff? Or maybe cause you didn't actually like slogging through the slow and methodical gameplay even though that's what you said you wanted.

You immediately chose to abandon your desire for a slower paced build when something fast showed up and then have the gall to tell the people that want faster game play that they're wrong.

I guess you got your wish for build choice cause right now it probably doesn't matter what you play they're all going to be slow af. Except huntress, until they patch it a week in like cast on X.
why so much crying? wait for the new uniques and support gems. there wil be a lot of fun builds. their vision is clearly not to zoom trough the maps and one shot the hardest content. play another game if you looking for that.

There is a very simple reason why I didn't play "slow" builds: I wouldn't be able to afford anything cool. If you have builds that are 100x faster than others, if you don't play them, you will never catch up with the economy.

If there are no 100x faster builds, this problem doesn't exist.

Disappointing to say the least.

people are angry because the quality of the nerfs are dogshit.

They are? They look alright to me they basically bopped everything it was obvious they were going to

Edit: Aside from hexblast and pizzablast, hexblast got the GGG Triple gut and nobody will ever use it and pizzablast I just didn't understand the need for or why it got a cooldown.

go play ssf please and leave the game for the actual players
My problem is not the damage nerfs tbh, my problem is that they are nerfing the only defensive options that worked, not buffing the ones that didn't work (looking at your armor) and there is no word on the balancing of damage and speed of monsters to not kill you within seconds. I'm all for a slower, methodical play style and one thing I love is that they are reducing the time you need to grind to get to the pinnacle bosses, but if the monsters are still on speed, cocaine, meth and whatever steroid they were on patch 0.1, I don't see us having a good time. Hopefully they will rebalance the monsters when people start dropping the game or playing the same 3 builds that will inevitably fall through the cracks and will be doing obscene amounts of damage.
