Fire Magic + Traps Shadow

i think the original build with the ES was the best way to go and would probably solve the defense problem

This is the most recent version of the tree that I'm working towards at the moment. Now that I'm gearing up a bit more (and actually have the ES aura) CI is still looking good. I'll test it out in the end (compared to this one) once I have enough points.

how much ES do you have with and without the aura and wat is your current lv.....also what spells are u using atm?and are u using a dagger or wand?

....im using firestorm fireball and firetrap...and then im still waiting to get another firestorm to use the trap support gem on and im also using summon skellys and zombies for some aggro holding currently lv 30 with no CI yet cause i feel its too early

I am currently lvl 58 and here is my current passive skill tree:



I have decided to go back to CI since I now have discipline (didn't have before /derp) and have better gear. I'm currently sitting at 3,441 ES buffed (2,289 non buffed).

Is still my current weapon. I am currently looking into changing for dual wand/ or other weapons that can give me a higher dps.

My skills I use are:
Firestorm (Fast casting and +2 lvl)
Fireball (Fast casting and +2 lvl)
Fire Trap (+2 lvl)
Elemental Weakness
Firestorm (Totem)
Ice Wall (looking to put increased duration on this)
Firestorm (Increased Crit Dmg and Remote Mines)
Firestorm (Trap)

Auras: Discipline

When I am in a group (Maelstrom) I generally maintain double Firestorm Totems and use my own Firestorm and elemental weakness.

When Solo, I scout with totems and use my basic spells. I can set up a "bomb" (essentially 1 fire trap, 3 firestorm traps, 5 firestorm mines, and 2 totems if they are melee) if I come across bosses that are giving me a hard time, or I just feel like doing it. This -generally- kills most bosses in less than 1 second with elemental weakness and diamond flask as the bomb is popping.

In groups, you probably won't have the luxury to set up, so its best to just maintain totems and dps normally.

Use Icewall if you are in trouble.

well thanks for the info...im at lv 31 as of now...but i use a wand/dagger and shield is the only differences..and i dont have all the same spells yet..but im working on getting all of them tho

any idea what u may do when the patch comes and changes the passive skill tree again? do u think the build will still work?

any neews on new build setup with the new tree??

any input on getting enough dex to keep lving fire trap?
