classes feeling the same..

As has been said there are various ideas floating around here and the suggestion forums for ideas regarding differentiation.

I've posted a general idea related to innate passives that can be synergized and modified with the skilltree. I've expressed how I feel this treads the balance of choice and uniqueness reasonably well.

I haven't updated it as I said I would because I hadn't received any feedback; however, the concepts are still there for tinkering if anyone wants to.

I'm also working on a means to use crafting 'epic passives' as another filter for uniqueness, but I haven't attempted any new thoughts for a while.

these freedom are good for players who are creative and smart but ive seen games how people just stick to 1 broken build and even though you could make a magic-marauder, it would not be as competitive as someone who look up the correct guide. i just think too much freedom kind of undermine the whole process of dividing up the classes and it should be more restricting while giving unique abilities for that class. i dont really see the need of having a casting marauder when i can just play a templar.

im just simply giving my opinion on the game, if you dont like other peoples opinion then dont reply.
i can make the same class as you, therefore i will be the same as you, or i could go to the right side of the skill tree, and then down, and make a totally different class as you. thats the entire point of customization, and choicss in class spec.

so far right now, i dont really see anything as being "cookie cutter". whats viable you ask? do i have to look up the best build online? (please dont bring jay wilson's D2 illusions here, lets keep bnet out of this),

think of it like this - the build you used to complete the game, did it work? did you win? was the game completed on your first created character that you strated playing at level 1? if so, then it was a viable end game build because you won.
support - grinding gear games, cdprojekt, runic games, clockstone, larian studios, south peak games, crate entertainment, invision games (on facebook), localize dragonquest anniversery (facebook).

you obviously don't read the forum as much as you think
Man

Next character I do

I'm making the LEAST VIABLE BUILD EVER

and i bet ill still win

I avoid discussions about best builds etc.

Personally takes some the fun out of trial and error for me.

I apply the same philosphy in real life.

I like to spearfish. The consensus here in nz on fish that are not nice to eat is pretty common. Every fish i have been told oh yuck man dont even bother I at least try once to form my own opinion based on my own experiances, if in fact it turns out it is shit then fine chalk that up as they were right. Sometiems i have found it to be ok when cooked a certain way and maybe some extra herbs and spices thrown its way. All of a sudden its a viable eating fish.

Its how I like to play my games as well. Dont mind advice and/or knowing whats "BEST" but it however wont make me feel forced into anything and i will still make my own choices even if they are shit and get me killed.

Such is life

Watch the attitude, please.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
