How did you survive 12 years with POE1? I play 2 months and it already makes me feel like I have to stop playing.
Before POE2 I was actively playing Black Myth Wukong and that game tested my patience, but POE2 is on another level of driving players overs the edge with the current state. And its not even official full League release yet. |

" I do feel bad for PoE1 players today. It's going to be long few months for you. I'd say that taking a break from PoE might not be a bad idea -- if you're not feeling PoE2, and just want a new PoE1 league, then playing something else until they announce that 3.26 is ready would probably be a good call. They will announce 3.26 eventually, though -- don't give up hope entirely. Living the Hollow Palm life, and loving it. Stay sane, exiles!

More interesting than that IMO is this idea that you're flushing your years away by playing a game that can have ended. Look I know all these floods of POE1 RIP posts are just the socially awkward way that some people deal with disappointment, and perhaps think will "pressure" GGG into announcing something. Don't worry though if POE1 continues until the heat death of the universe it will still be "flushed away" time. The good news is that only the journey actually mattered. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |

I certainly won't complain about the joy PoE 1 brought me. It was the best.
There is no innovation in poe2 at all. Nothing new. Not one single thing. Even the mechanics are copy pasted from poe1. Time to play a different genre of games. PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

" I 100% agree. In these large companies like Tencent, Electronic Arts and Activision, the people calling the shots don't play ANY video game, much less their own products. To them its just revenue projections and bottom lines. When I worked at Electronic Arts only 5% of the staff played any video game and that absolutely stunned me. GGG is busy committing suicide and Tencent only cares about $. Gone is the game run by people that like to play games. |
