So, no answers ? I thought so.
I said "you die and you blame the game."
You said "no, but I died and now the game stole my time and my XP".
Hahaha indeed.
is English your native language? Keeps dying means you have died more than once. a repetition of events.
I'm talking about a single death. not multiple and you're doing what I already said is a problem by steering conversations. lmao. lol. why bother

You see this is a feedback post, where we come to give feedback. Stop trolling in this feed.
So my feedback saying that XP loss and one portal/map are real important features that give meaning and value to the Endgame, while also being signature designs of a good arpg doesn't matter ?
Right, right. Opposite opinions can only be trolling to you, so let's see yours like that as well.
so you're saying you would stop playing if they compromised to leave 1 portal but deleted the xp loss?
I call bs dude
Ho yes I would stop playing. I don't play riskless trash games cattering to oversensitives casuals. That why I was truly sad to be forced to stop playing D3 and D4. They lost their soul to get more money from players like that. But somehow people still leave those game after reaching level 100... Somehow.

Ho then, if you only died once, XP loss isn't an issue for you. Noice.

It's not my native language, thanks for asking. Is it your native language? How many others do you speak?
If you die multiple times, you are going to have to either keep buying omens or address why you die so much.
I am hoping the language barrier isn't a problem in understanding that regular deaths beyond the ability to re-buy omens to sustain a reasonable progression in XP is a problem with your build or playstyle rather than the game.

dude you're so aggressive and I'm just trying to gauge if you're being rude or speak multiple languages.... go outside or something because clearly you can't articulate yourself well enough but you're still super rude.
like I said if you're dying for the first time at 96 ..... ONE TIME is losing 60 maps or a full days of profession then yes it does matter.... it doesn't make sense the punishment is to severe. 5 seconds of not being focused shouldn't = a full days loss in higher levels. that's my point.
I still say you're being disingenuous that you wouldn't play if they cut one of the branches of punishments and kept the rest. I'm looping and falling for a trap my bad.
also I speak two languages. That's why I recognized you might speak other languages. not everyone is the enemy

Just because you don't like me repeatedly telling you to use omens because that would completely invalidate your argument does not make my posting rude.
I have made no personal attacks unlike others in this thread or called the experiences of anyone with the game or lack of 'supporter packs' into question as if these give their opinions less value.
I am merely pointing out the hard fact that the game gives you an option of only losing 2.5% per death instead of 10.
If you refuse to pursue that option, taking the full 10% loss on death is on you.
This game embraces the taking of risks with mechanics like vaal orbs, chaos orbs and so on. Losing xp on death is a risk you take. You can choose to mitigate it or not, but refusing to mitigate it and then being upset that you lost XP makes zero sense to me.
I will indeed go outside though - dogs need a walk.

Fake news, this guy thinks everyone has xp loss omens. False.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

in trade league if you are not using omens at lvl 90+ well he's right it's on you they are not expensive (unless you rly die every 2maps).

If you're playing Elden ring correctly and spending souls you lose nothing if you don't attain your souls on the runback...
wow push a bird off a cliff for 15 mins over and over. "git gud" is the same monotonous tedium you're laughably attempting to say...
I didn't say it. People whining about xp on death here are saying the Elden Ring system was better. Except in Elden Ring system you lose all of your XP, not just 10%.
"But in Elden Ring if you play good you can get your corpse back."
And if you play good in PoE 2 you don't die once per hour and create threads about how losing XP on death is bad.
ER has all it's systems supporting this system. PoE2 does not.
A similar system would be when you die you lose all graces in an area and have to play from the beginning grace upon entering an area.
To even go into an area you need "X amount of runes" to go in. We'll say you need 50,000 runes to even attempt the Marget in Stormveil castle.
On top of this if you die you would also not be able to go back and get any runes that exceeded the entry amount.
That would be closer to equivalent.
