Good luck guys, I've uninstalled.

I've seen the update video and the interview and both were disgusting. Not a single 'sorry guys, we messed up'. They were so relaxed in that interview, seemed so detached from the vibe of the community.

When Darth asked 'do you agree melee is the worst, with the worst skills etc' the director was laughing and be like wow that was so brutal. What do you mean brutal? It was a basic question. Makes me feel he never came to these forums, even out of curiosity.

I feel like they've fully embraced the employee style where you conserve your energy, put on horse glasses and don't care about anything else beside the thing that's the bare minimum for u to do. They don't seem in touch at all with what is happening.

I feel bad for paying for the early access. Its only me feeling like this? I'm just very disappointed

You made the right call. EA or whatever is marketing to allow them to sell you an under-delivered product.

You are saving yourself a huge amount of mental relief, pain, and misery. This game is truly of a certain combination of only negative attributes. Hope other users here also make the right call. This game is wildly underdelivered and is the closest I've felt to a "bait and switch" in gaming in a very long time.

yup, f this game. gonna play other games now.

'reduced chances of boss waystones to balance things'. yeah, f that, not wasting my time.
Not uninstalling, yet, but support OP's sentiment. My gripe is waystone sustain. They increase boss encounters but reduce waystone drop % in maps as a baseline as well as two nodes in atlas tree. What this says to me is they intend to keep the drop chance the same as it is, and Im struggling with sustain.

I dont understand why they are so adverse to having maps drop at a higher rate. How does that break things? It allows me to continue to play your game. Because right now, Im not. I'll check out the update for a few maps, a few boss maps, and see what drops. And then Im logging off if I dont get my investment back and then some.

Starting to really believe that POE2 needed more time in the oven to cook alongside D4. Even if its EA... Once you take money from people, you dont get to use the 'Well its EA' card in my book.

Have to see how that pans out.

Waystone sustain is another tiring git gud argument, those that have it rubbing people's faces in it, those that don't eventually either catch up but bitter about the whole experience or just quit

It's clunky as it is, poe1 used to have similar issues but has fixed them over time

"Just get tablets" is not a great argument when you have 6 tablets in stash all with gold or xp on them. "6 mod everything" is also not great when your issue is low sustain as every extra mod is a step closer to brick

Maybe boss tablets will help. Difficult to say as most people playing here are past the problem area and will just continue saying T10 sustain is fine because I have tabs full of T15s

I wonder how many of them quietly went on TFT to buy themselves out of holes
I personally feel that it was released too early, even for "Early Access". They probably had to rush it due to downward financial pressure, would be my guess. It feels if though I was back in Closed/Open in POE1. This iteration of POe2 is really a Beta Test. I believe JR was trying to make the Game that Chris Wilson always wanted, and this is more in line with his old vision. Mark has a different view and is more in line with the Gaming community as he was a blaster at one time.

I don't think their QA team is big enough for a game with this many parameters, they had to release it unfinished at some stage

But "early access" is a new catch all for "released before finished", muddied a bit by companies like blizzard using it as a cash grab to mean a soft launch

Great strategy since you have hundreds of thousands if not millions of beta testers that actually paid you, instead of the other way around.
Decided that chasing around good news about poe 2 was doing negative things to my mental health so decided to uninstall poe 2 and just wait for next poe 1 league.

The dev interview was HUGE slap in the face for someone who enjoys poe 1 for what it is. I am fine with poe 2 being a different game if that is their vision for it. But then I would expect new poe 1 news asap and not somekind of "that is too long topic for a rapid fire question" answer.

I hope GGG understands that it is their DUTY to support poe 1 even more now that they have delved into their vision of well / 1 portal / no chance to choose what maps you do / dodge roll gameplay.

I never had any kind of buyers remorse from supporting GGG but now I am getting delayed buyers remorse just cause I feel like they dumped us poe 1 players into dirt for their vision.

This post amaze me, its an early access, you cant expect them to fix all our desire in one month or so ?

It took them less than a day to nerf gas grenade/gas arrow when they weren't even op

So yes, I want them to buff the grenades right now and I don't want to play the game until grenades are buffed, problem?

no problem sir
