I'm torn between curiosity of WTF the idea is, and thinking that this is some clever scam. I'm pretty sure there's some flaw in your idea which I'd love to pick apart, lol ^^

If you really had an awesome idea, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just post it. If you give the idea to someone else they will steal all the credit. If you post it publicly, even if you never make the build, you gain the credit.

well i guess it was some kind of a lie, but it had no significance(cant spell that word -.-) to the thread, other than being reason why i dont do it myself, and it was never ment to decieve you in any ways.. main thing is that i dont play default, once did, no more and sold everything into hardcore currency..... but ive perhaps found one allready who will help me, so if the build checks out i'll just post it soon :)

Haha ive played counterstrike a little too long, it kinda ruined my grammar, since u never have time to write, if you dont write really fast and forget about the grammar rules :)
Still i study math at university level, so the only flaw in my calculations, could be that i interpret mechanics to work different than they actually do.
but really, if you think about it, that guy who gets 350k dps with ignite, what damage factor isnt he using? because i use everything that is possible, and if you can figure out what hes missing (which is quite obvious because he disables it with one of his main nodes, in his passive tree, you will be able to get something similar as i do... ). I increase every point of damage i have by a factor 1:385 ;)

110 ;) i think its pretty standard to have around 10 points left in a build.

If we're talking about EA, which it seems we are.

Crits is the most obvious omission in the referenced build. Not sure how that makes such a big difference though. Remembering that chance to ignite doesn't make a crit happen.

EA has a 6% crit chance, you generally need to use Quill Rain which would be one of your two required uniques. Chin Sol + Point Blank might be interesting, but the attack speed might be too slow.

Unless, your talking about BM disabling auras. Though that would probably make less difference than crits.

The biggest killer in this game is yourself, unless you plan the DPS to come out of a totem or a trap/mine.

what does it matter if OT lied a bit?

anyone rich enough would run the numbers himself before investing in the build - there is nothing to gain for the OT.

On the other hand he could simply post his idea...
