hah, hacked. All divines, astramentis gone. All the not good stuff left.
Oh and i usually play through steam but I think when i log on through steam it actually uses my information from PathofExile because i went back and looked at my logins from the last 30 days for steam and they are all from my location. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I've heard people mention that others can obtain our session ID somehow to steal our items. Maybe it's not a login security issue but some other gap in security.
Whatever it is, it needs to be fixed asap. |

I would bet money it has something to do with the trade site. Hooks into the trade site, i dunno. But its super suspicious to me, that i finally get a good item, post it on the trade site, next day get hacked and that specific item and divines are missing.
Or they can get our user information when they whisper us. I mean really, who would whisper me for a 300 div astramentis. But when they did whisper me for it, it was all asian characters for their name. Last edited by bobothewizard#1818 on Jan 5, 2025, 7:08:57 PM

I also do not think it has anything to do with the Neversink loot filter. I have been using that for a long time.

i dont know GGG is not helping us or telling us how they are hacking us .
is it trade? is it overlays? wtf is going on. feels like we are alone . i dont even want to say anything bad about the hackers coz i feel like i could be targeted . losing more and more faith in GGG by the day , for now it looks like Bots , Rmters and hackers are running the show. |

Don't worry, only 3 more weeks of vacation before they start investigating the massive hacking issues.

Someone posited that it had something to do with trading where the buyer hides somewhere in your hideout till you log out which allows them to take over your session, sounded plausible, i had an buyer earlier today hang around about two minutes in my hideout, I didn't go anywhere until he left, I think there should be a way to force people to leave your hideout even if this isn't the way this exploit is happening as it's now a bit creepy

" go to alva and switch to a diff hideout. its a new instance. |

Nobody knows what's happening to people and GGG's only response was that there was nothing amiss on their end. Hopefully it's just weak passwords combined with log in from new location lock not working.
