hah, hacked. All divines,astramentis gone. All the not good stuff left.

Tried to log in to path of exile forums and noticed it told me i have the wrong account. Thought, thats odd. Logged in to the actual game, yep, all the good stuff is gone but they left my junk.

No RMT trade sites visited, only thing running is a loot filter from neversink.

Well, guess the game was fun while it lasted.

Actually still cant login on my pathofexile account nor can i change my password. Apparently they changed my password. Only way i can log in is through the secondary steam account.


Was able to reset my pasword through the "Forgot password link", no matter, wont be playing again.


Wanted to add one other thing, been playing this game since 2012. Never hacked. Something is up.

After thinking about it a little more, just my opinion of course, but i think it might have something to do with the trade website. I havent really posted anything worth more then a few exalts on the tradesite until a few days ago when i listed an astramentis. Sold one for 300div, then found another one in one of those maps that have the vendor in them where you can pick one item from the vendor.

Took that and put it back up on the trade site for another 300D. I was surprised when the only whispers i get for the item was from asian players. 300d is way overpriced for that, we all know that. But if you are selling one on a RMT site and someone buys one but you do not have one in your inventory. Well, you need to get one fast.

i mean jeah it's concerning currently, given that they previously had bugs that led to ppl login to other ppls account with their own credentials and such. but mind me asking why you only have chars in settlers and literally zero challenge progress in any leagues besides settlers if you played since 2012. seems very, very fishy.

2nd account? Its not unusual for some users to have multiple accounts. The post did say he had to go on the second account?

Nah its not fishy. I was playing on xbox for a long time, recently build a pc and had my accounts merged. Not sure if all that jazz came over when they merged accounts. If I look at my accounts now, i actually have two. One from the xbox and one, this one, for the PC which is the more recent one.

The second account i had to log in with was actually from steam. I think they have it listed as a secondary account with my main account being my email address.

Got it. Thanks for clarification. Granted, I do not have suspicions as too many users were reporting getting hacked over past 2-3 weeks.

Sorry for your loss and hope the new PoE 1 3.26 season will stir some fun back if its ever released.

jeah, sry for calling that fishy then, hope this will somehow work out for you and we get it fixed and a proper statement what happened.

I sent an email to support but i am not holding my breath for that, you know how that will work out. Hope they get this sorted though.

So sorry to hear this and I hope GGG can do something to help you. With so reports of accounts getting hacked, including some content creators, this has to be #1 priority for fixing. Either 2FA or some other high-level security measures need to be implemented.
