we need a full wipe ASAP... exploits, hacks, etc will destroy economy from now on
I think that for a clear sight some changes need to be apply and tested on clean economy.
I expect them to wipe many times over the course of EA. |

" Are you asking to turn off currency flip protection? lol Corruption Level: Embodiment of the Vision
Exactly.
If they do a full wipe, the hard working SSF people will be screwed over, since all your gear there needs to be crafted or found. And the prices will just instantly be set. If ppl know how many divines a certain unique goes for, or what the exchange rate of exalts is, they will just set those prices immediately again. Resetting the economy wont do anything lol, you wont ever get cheap items, those days were over the second the game started. Its never going to be the case that the best items will be cheap. No reset in the world will fix this. And no buff in currency drops will, either. More currency will just cause inflation, instead of 100-200 ex per div you will have 2000 or 20000. Inflation knows o boundary. What is necessary to fix the market is more valuable item drops and easier crafting. If everyone can craft decent items then you dont need to buy much. Meaning the market doesnt value items that high, since u can craft a similar item yourself. Right now crafting is too RNG and the items brick, cant be rerolled and thus they are going from a decent base to trash. |

Anyone calling for a wipe is either:
1) a no-lifer who doesn't care about investing 50 hours in the game to get back to late end game 2) trying to sabotage the game by pissing off the player base You think 90% of players are going to react well to a wipe? They won't. They will be pissed. I'm non-invested since I'm quitting the game, but I'll just say this.. if GGG does a wipe just simply to reset the economy, and not to introduce new content or something meaningful. People will be very, very angry lol. |

Since I started playing POE back in 2013, they have yet to wipe their standard servers. Not once. And I highly doubt they will.
90% of the players will go into leagues when they start one. Any sort of nonsense will only affect a small portion of the playerbase. I'd much rather see these bugs uncovered now and fixed, then later on when leagues come out. |

Are you guys talking about an actual "wipe" ( even characters )? Just asking as some times even though the wording might be the same it might as well mean a different thing on each game/community etc.
If yes, sorry but the EA FAQ states: " So unless hell breaks lose and there's game-braking changes in a patch that I can understand as a developer calling for an actual wipe ( to me a wipe means, truncating the databases which deletes everything ), the above quote should be a rule set to stone. I'm not in SSF and maybe I traded like 2 times to buy something which got replaced pretty quickly as well, but that doesn't mean anything in general. That being said, stop asking for a wipe, please. It's not my fault to lose everything just because "your" economy is ruined, I'm sorry. They can make a new league for you as stated to go through if you like, I'll continue playing my 92 Monk in an empty realm even until I get bored of it and then join you in that new league, tyvm. |

I do hope they either wipe or do a new "league" when they add classes. It will be hard to get a good test on them if trade league players have all the op gear for them in the campaign
" Than don't trade and just play SSF....Or like me trade stuff for currency and use the currency to "craft" selffound gear. It makes the game way more interesting becasue with trading the game becomes waaay to easy very fast. No need to reset servers now but it will surely be done once during EA, probably with a big content update. ;) |

I already got my gear, so I don't care. Will quit when I have enough currency to try the flaming priest.

" theyre not balancing around it, they know people who trade end up with game breaking items and builds. they will look at the builds themselves and if there are problem build combinations they will be adjusted. no one is balancing item drops around anything effected by this stuff. the item drops that matter are balanced around casual players playing self found. its literally meaningless. some temporaliswhatever item is spammed in the economy... ok, so that 1 item is at a saturation point it shouldnt be at for another month... it means absolutely 0 in terms of what they give a shit about regarding balance right now mate. they dont even have swords and javelins in the game, none of the base items for armour past act3 have been added. what kind of balance do you think is going on that has real meaning right now? theyre looking at character progression in acts 1-3 self found and theyre looking at what build jungroan is playing so they can nerf its damage by 3000%. theyre hopefully looking at the math of armour vs energy shield vs monsters. the economy is fine and whatever items got rolled back or exploited is absolutely meaningless right now outside of how was it done and how do we stop it happening. its EA, its a krangled alphabeta testing zoo soup. its fine, you dont need to worry about it, just enjoy you game and being a part of this collective learning and redesigning phase. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
