Remove Mighty Silverfist from maps
I hate silverfist.
Even during campaign. I have leveled several characters now through campaign which is the only place I can reliably find the boss and try to learn it. I still dont know why some dodges succeed and some do not. Is there something wrong with the boss? Is there something weird about the hitboxes or something? The boss seems so simple, but I still cannot do it without fail. How do I learn it? Where is the problem? Is the issue with me or is it the boss? |

" the issue is how armour works someone tried to reverse-engineer the formula and concluded something like: [damage taken] = [damage dealt]² / ( [armour] / 12 + [damage dealt] ) meaning with 13214 armour and 3800 hp the maximum hit you can take is 4691 to survive at 1 hp, armour in this case doing less than 20% mitigation for a crit with blade catcher its 5361 max hit before reduction, there you got still less than 30% mitigation your armour is worth nothing yes the boss is also mean because the animation doesnt really have a windup so you dont know when exactly he does his big slam, but badly telegraphed attacks are also a problem on several other bosses its armour doing nothing that is the main issue |

I actually love the giant monkey boss…
He is so easy to beat, just don’t get hit.. I like this boss because when I see him, i immediately perk up in my chair, I get in close and personal and barrel roll around his feet chasing his backside. Every other boss I stand back and dodge mechanics, this one I get close and dodge mechanics. It’s very fun, please don’t change. If you get hit by him, on more than 1-2 occasions, you probably don’t understand the mechanics. Try staying close and slapping his cheeks |

" Unfortunately the majority of those complaining everything is too hard are those who don't want to play a game with mechanics. They want to walk in and mindlessly afk face roll dps a boss/map. Auto-clickers are that kind of genre, not arpgs. |

Honestly, this is a boss you can learn and dodge his very well telegraphed one-hit attacks. Sorry, but you should not be able to tank those hits at all. That's my opionion on this one.

His slam is clearly not telegraphed well enough for a one-shot attack. I mean it is dodgeable for sure, but you need to play perfectly. People saying it's "clearly telegraphed" are either being elitist or playing in softcore and don't worry all that much when they die because something distracted them for a split secnd.
On HC just play infernalist with 20k ES from grim feast. Even if somehow you don't kill him before he even raises his club, he won't be one-shotting you with that kind of buffer. |

You guys really hate melee and hardcore mode. There are ways to avoid the issue, just oneshot him/play ES build/play at range.
You don't mind that melee is always punished in this game and that currently casters are tankier than STR stacking builds. Does it make sense that armour is useless but a caster doesn't need to dodge or worry because he has infinite ES against boss one-shots that is much better than armour? Nothing about this topic has to do with skill since certain builds don't even need to interact with this boss. I do the same. |

" (See my first post in this thread) I have fought this boss many, many times as melee. I have literally never been hit by his slams on a melee build; it's honestly easier to dodge the closer you are to him. Skill issue. |

" Not the issue, here. Of course it can be dodged, the problem is there are pinnacle bosses who don't even hit this hard or as often as this monkey. And from what I am gathering here, armor is broken and not working like it is supposed to. So, the boss may need rebalancing in terms of its speed and tells, but it seems like at the very least we've determined that player armor needs to be reexamined. |

" Balance issue, since casters don't need to dodge while life builds get oneshot and lose their character. Doesn't matter what your experience is. |
