Remove Mighty Silverfist from maps

Armor is completely broken.

You might think you have 75% damage reduction.
But against the really big crits, it probably around 10-15%.
You CAN NOT build a tanky physical resistant character in this game. At all.
Stacking ES is the only way right now.
Harambe smash!
That monkey came to slam.
hello, i live in a city named riverside, and ran my first riverside map today at t14ish. the boss hit me 0 times and I killed him with somewhere between 20-100k dps and only 20% phys mitigation all while trying to kill him before my rarity shrine buff expired. as someone with over 20,000 hours between poe 1/2 and various other monster hunter games I can definitively say that learning how to iframe attack damage is literally mandatory with the current version of physical mitigation.
This thread reeks of skill issue.

I've fought Silverfist in maps as melee, and literally never died because I don't stand still and let him hit me. Every single one of his attacks is incredibly slow and clearly telegraphed, you don't even have to use the dodge roll unless you're out of position to begin with. Just walk around him, staying behind the arm holding the club, and hit him until he falls over.

I could maybe understand people wanting a nerf to the act 3 version, because if your shoes don't have movement speed the fight can be very unforgiving and it's less than halfway through the campaign. But by the time you get to maps, much less tier 15 maps, bosses really shouldn't be hitting you at all ever with these slams.
Why remove him instead of making him weaker?
My necro survives a hit of the normal ape, but my warrior gets oneshootet too.

Brother i'm playing a warrior and the monkeys attacks are faster than all of mine except auto attack.

Using hammer when he isn't stunned means in most cases you cancel it and eat the cd penalty, sunder takes 3 to 5 business days which doesn't work either.

Not to mention using stampede which is the main stunner and clear skill for most warriors is a suicide.

But like you said, i have killed him in high end maps by equpping bunch of stun buildup and damage on basic attack and rolling around him until shout hammer kill.

In T16-T18 most of his abilities are almost always a one shot despite 4.4k hp and 25k armour.

Question is, is it really engaging to auto attack a boss for a minute, rolling every single attack sphincter clenched because armour & hp does nothing?
if you're clenched then yes, it's literally engaging.

I believe we are using different meanings of the word engaging :)
I think the problems with that boss is that he's too fast, the telegraphs are hard to read and the AoE and AoE damage of the slam is way too big.
I get it that a direct hit with that pillar would one-shot pretty much anyone, but currently it's very difficult to tell when and where the slam hits, the slam is coming way too fast and it makes no fucking sense that it's that deadly if you're not being hit directly.
