I've seen this happen before with people suspiciously staying in your hideout for a really long time without leaving and I'm not sure what exactly they are doing so I wouldn't be surprised. It doesn't give you any option to kick them out of your hideout either.
Hackers used to do a similar thing in Runescape. They would stalk your character and they wouldn't even do any social engineering or anything. You just sign out and sign back in and everything in your bank is gone. They just somehow are able to extract information/data from the server.
If anyone has this happen to them they should contact support and have them look at the logs on their end. Your own logs show SOME info but not everything.
go to hideout decorations menu and block anyone from entering your hideout until its sorted imo
Thank you, couldn't find anywhere else how to do it..

Right now this thread is just an alarm thread, you haven't provided anyone with information to prove your claim. Earlier in the week people were claiming it was 3rd party tools that were the cause of the hacks. Before that it was GGG's servers were hacked.
If you have evidence, best to email it directly to GGG.
If you want a discussion topic about it, it should be in the discussion topics section of the forums. This section is for providing feedback about the game, not speculation about theft.
+1
In addition, im surprised no one called it out yet:
OP calls on players to lock down their own hideout, while warning them of "suspiciously priced chase items".
This is in direct contradiction to what every poe player knows: the trade takes place in the seller's hideout, not the buyer's...
If someone lists a cheap temporalis, i pm them and they invite me to a party, the next thing that happens is me going to their hideout - not them coming to mine.
Please do not read between the lines here - this could very much be a real and novel security threat to accounts, but it is worth noting that the way it is presented in this thread reeks of populist fearmongering tactics.
Stay sane exiles
thats quite a stupid post.
In the recent reports, people report that the person jumpes over to your hideout and type something in chat. Hours later all the items are gone and all the reports around that topic include a very odd trade session.
It is also easy just to lock your own hideout for party members just to stay safe. If that actually solves it, so why not.

I disagree, while i may be underestimating the severity of this "hack" simply because i do not believe it works as claimed ( i and many others here believe the people hacked used 3rd party tools and/or RMTed), my reply was in no way "stupid".
I gave my opinion and the reasoning behind it, including how even if the hack was real there is little chance the hackers would choose to act this way.
I do agree however that little harm would come to you by merely locking your hideout - but i just dont think it is necessary.
EDIT: I just saw you quoted my first reply here, i have since elaborated on my viewpoint on the matter. to save you going through the pages - I thank OP for what he is trying to do, but i feel an all caps title in the feedback forum isnt the right way given that all of this is mere speculation, that is all
P.S. you would need to limit you h/o to friends only, since a person you are trying to trade with is a party member for the duration of the trade and can gain access this way, and does not get kicked out afterwards no matter what you do.
