Heck on the walking simulation of massive maps for no reason. I don't even want to finish cruel. mobs are not hard, its just tedium. I want hard, not oversized tedium making it mind numbingly boring. |

I'll admit cruel is a chore. If I wanted to replay the whole thing, i'd start a new character. It's not even challenging either, and I didn't get a single gear upgrade for my character for the entire cruel run (had to buy every single item off Trade forums). You barely get any rares, and they are all for other classes / bad rolls..
Honestly they should put 2x Xp on normal difficulty and get players straight into endgame... Then once they add act 4-5-6 proper, they can trim down all the excess parts of ACT2 and ACT3 that suck and make these acts take too long (worse offender is act three, some of the maps are larger than entire acts in POE1... As it is now , I'm not going to play a 2nd character. No way I go through two full clears of act 1-2-3 per characters each times. Once you complete the campaign once you should be able to take another character and jump straight to the endgame.

Campaign is alright because about every 15-20 mins of gameplay you get a boss fight.

" Do you want to jump to endgame? Campaign is the most polished/better part of the game, endgame is horrific, try making it to level 100, or at the very least 99. If you don't know what I am talking about going from level 98 to 99, takes more grind/hours/time than leveling 5 characters in poe1 from lvl 1 to lvl 100, going to last epoch levelling 5 more characters from lvl 1 to lvl 100, and finish with diablo 4, leveling 10 more characters from lvl 1 to lvl 100. The game loop of running terrible layout huge maps without an ability to make a choice going around activating 100 towers, trying to find citadels to gain a key to fight a pinnacle boss, who drops mostly worthless junk and one unique that costs less than a key, so you are risking your money for nothing, better sell the key. Campaign isn't that long if you just play the storyline. literally takes like 10-15 hours max.
