Vendor Prices and Early Game Difficulty (edited for clarity)

"I think shop prices are too low right now"

I wanted to stop reading at that point, sorry, but I continued nevertheless.

I'm 92 level running t15s every day ( when rng helps me even higher ) and I've found 1 divine up to this point ( also with 200ish rarity and whatnots ).

Nothing in the "shop" is approachable for me, especially if it's an actual upgrade at this point for my character.

So no idea what you're talking about, and no offense intended.

Ah, okay. I think I understand the confusion now. I was referring to the gold prices for the in-game vendors, not the trading website. I assumed people would understand what I meant when I referred to the "shop." I've never heard anyone refer to the trading market as the "shop" and that terminology wouldn't even make sense to me because a shop is where you buy things, not where you trade. (Also, why would I be telling GGG to raise trading prices, when those are set by players?)

Still, I'll take the blame for things going wrong here. I'm going to edit the original post to make it clearer and try not to be irritated by others' rudeness.

Might've been my bad as well and misunderstood but thanks for clarifying either way.

In any case, all good :) .

That would be a bit tricky imho because you'll always have new players jumping in on their first character, so you can't really have the vendors selling stuff for 50 or 100k all of a sudden that's unobtainable for them.

In order to achieve what you're saying would be to alter the vendor prices according to "your maximum level across all of your characters" I guess ( hence it being tricky ), just so it doesn't affect other players or newcomers.

I still have to 'disagree' though, to be honest, you might have an abundance of gold but that's not everyone either. I'm always broke and gathering gold map to map eagerly while changing my build every other day to try new things.

If I made a new character today, I'd be as broke as when I first started playing in the EA to put it simply haha. Although yes since I'm 92 I could easily spend a day and farm some cash to dress my new char up a bit, that's true as well.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing here. I am talking about the early game balance of vendor prices on whatever character you start out the league with.
