All In One problem list
A list of issues gathered by my small group of friends. You can agree or disagree. Hopefully, this list will help GGG.
1. Monster's chaos damage is overtuned. 2. Monster's projectile damage is overtuned. 3. Map mod "Monsters have 200% increased stun buildup" is bugged, a character with 86% evasion is not only stunlocked most of the time, but is also hit much more often, as if evasion doesn't apply correctly to monsters with this mod. 4. Except Golden Charm, charms sucks and are useless, some can only be used once and lasts for only 3 seconds. Totally useless on boss fights. 5. Useless Mods on charms like "recover 7 mana on use" is this a joke? Amazing, I will get 7 out of 1k mana back once in a blue moon. 6. After death animations on rare monsters are missleading, you don't know if it's just an animation or it is a damaging effect. It also makes FPS drop like crazy. 7. Item Rarity is a cancer and force you to play 2 builds to get currency. This stat should be entirely removed from the game. 8. PoE is a gear based game, so why we have no crafting? All we get is RNG festival. - picking up items and praying for better rolls than 8 life and 2 inteligence is not crafting - socketing runes is not crafting - Transmute + Augment is not crafing, it's just RNG - omens drop rate is so low and so expensive that it's better to buy ready item than crafting yourself - no reroll currency would make sense only if dropped items were good, but they mostly suck - we don't even have a blessing orb for the implicits reroll - essences are so simplified that are also barely used and the ones that are somehow useful are expensive and rarely droped - no crafting bench is the worst idea ever 9. Only a few runes are used, the rest sucks. 10. Why runes can't be used on wands, scepters and staves? 11. Why quality on wands, scepters and staves does NOTHING? 12. Map opening time is too damn long. 13. Field of view/fog on the endgame map is bugged/not loading after entering a waystone. 14. Because the monster's chaos damage is so high, not going CI is just dumb, and is sucks. 15. Energy Shield is overtuned, goind life based character you are just far behind. 16. Why there is no map stash tab? 17. In comparison to PoE, PoE2's currency and currency stash tab looks like a middle-school project, - poor UI design - PoE currency icons are much better and should be just imported to PoE2 - right click to move all is missing - holding alt to summarise is missing 18. The shift-hold function on the passive skill tree is bugged. When the passive skill is active, the comparison function should show the difference after removing the passive, but instead, it adds its value even though it is already active. 19. Sanctum and Ultimatum as the only way to get ascendancy points is just bad. Dear Isaro and your PoE Trials, i apologize so much for cursing them, after being forced to do that f*** Sanctums and Ultimatums - the two Leagues I skipped because they sucks. 20. Most belt bases are useless, lack of other base types. 21. Belts are missing evasion and energy shield mods. 22. No resistance nodes on passive skill tree and missing crafting feature makes it even harded to cap resistances. 23. Runes can't be replaced, again with no crafting in this game it sucks even more. 24. After all this years GGG finally made an auction house for the currency.. but what if we skip this stupid item searching on the website, skip waiting for the little prince to graciously reply because it’s not worth his time to return from the map just to sell an item for 1ex, or he’s AFK for half a day? Instead, just add all items to the auction house. Nobody, NOBODY likes or want to visit website just to be ignored by 8/10 sellers. 25. The campaign map is bugged in Act 3 and 3 Cruel. The past/present waypoints and map layout are bugged, and a relog is required to see the whole map again. 26. New Threashold for ailment and stun - guess what - sucks. - Simple Ailment and stun avoidance from PoE is MUCH better - No information is provided for any of the thresholds, what number makes you immune? what chance to avoid we have with that numbers? How much of that stats do we have at all? - Character Tab: Stun protection - empty, Ailment Protection - empty, ZERO information 27. Maps are gigantic and layouts are overcomplicated, if you don't check every corner, you can be sure you'll waste a lot of time going back for that one rare monster to complete the map. 28. Citadels appear too rarely. 29. Lost Towers are boring and monotonous, not rewarding at all, even the monsters are always the same. Currently, their only function is as a low-tier waystone sink. 30. Perfect Timing's animation and sound must be more noticable, it is hard to time it not looking at the character. 31. Gemcutter Prism can't be used on Skills from the Ascendancy e.g. Poisonous Concoction. 32. AOE abilities of monsters are overtuned, 2k life character getting one shoted by 2 white vultures jumping on you is ridiculous. 33. Most of the mobs are rushing at you with the speed of light or jumping on you instantly, there is not enough time to even press the dodge roll before you got surrounded and dead. 34. Monsters jumping out of the delirium crystals are always pushing your character, it's really annoying. The whole mechanic sucks, with many monsters just pushing away your character you have the feeling that your character is being moved like a pawn on a chessboard. 35. There should be information on what type of biome your currently selected map has. Most of the time the tiles looks like 3 types of biomes at the same time, does all 3 types apply for the "Local Knowledge" Atlas Passive or just one? Poor design again. 36. There are even more useless Uniques than in PoE. Not only are they useless, but the ones that are somehow interesting have such low-value stats that even a blue item is better. 37. Minion's AI sucks, they block you, they stuck at thin passages and overall unbalanced. 38. It's obvious, but it should also be pointed out that 90% of the skills suck. There are a few greatly overtuned ones, like Spark and Lightning Rod, that are abused. Melee skills are the worst and the slowest. Bow skills are as always overtuned. 39. Meta skills got nerfed to the ground instead of being rebalanced. 40. Disenchanting Quality Flasks does not grant a Glassblower's Bauble. 3: doesn't being stunned disable the ability to evade attacks?
1/14/15: If ES is overtuned, why is mobs' Chaos Damage too high? Chaos is meant to foil overreliance on ES. As for Chaos Inoculation, simply allow Bleeds to apply regardless of an intact ES. You forgot citadels being so RNG it's impossible to find them. They HAVE to buff the rate of them spawning AT LEAST for ssf

I mean, the fact that the passive skill tree is just basic attack/defense/mana (block or accuracy) increases with levels with zero choice or creativity. Skill gems being purely offensive. Everyone is playing the same build because the game has zero build variety. No interest in character progression, because the player has no control over it. No replayability, because why would you spend your time playing the same shallow build over and over again.
The list is good, but most of it can be fixed relatively easily. The fact that devs simplified this game to a point that it has less character progression depth than pretty much any RPG I played for the past 5 years, well, that's a serious problem. |

And MOST IMPORTANTLY (not really im just salty i cant enjoy my favorite ability to its full potential)... Improve Ranger's snipe pleaseee. Audio and visual cue of the perfect timing window are terrible, and the perfect timing window itself is too small. When im surrounded by enemies I cant time it most of the time. When im fighting a boss from a big distance and looking at what the boss is doing to position, im not looking at my character: I cant time it most of the time. It also prevents me from stacking attack speed so I dont make it even harder. Just make it like Perfect Strike. And tbh I think perfect strike is a big too easy but snipe is way too difficult...
I was spamming posts about this but they got ignored and lost hope, maybe theyll see it here. I just wanna make a build thats fun out of my favorite ability in the game. Right now its more frustrating than fun. Rant over. |
