We need in game trading house. in 2024 the website just doesnt cut it.

This argument where being able to buy things that are actually useful to my character somehow completely destroys the game is insanely stupid. We already can buy items, but somehow it being only possible in a completely moronic way is going to save the universe?

I haven't traded a single time in the 100+ hours I've been playing the beta. It's not like I don't have currency, I just will not interact with a moronic system a drunk dog could have come up with. This is bad game design, pure and simple. GGG needs to stop with the toxicity. They are intentionally keeping trade as moronic as possible.
Would you buy coins from GGG to use an auction house? I know it's the "create the problem to sell the solution" mandate. Free-to-play games have some inherent limitations.
The console version of poe1 has a in game auction house and it was really nice I enjoyed it Alot.
I was surprised when I learned it wasn't even in the PC version of the game.
Basically anything in your stash was listed if it had a listed price
You could even hold down the left stick and hit Y on any item and it pulled up a search of all of those items.
Even if your tab was listed but a item you had in that tab wasn't listed someone can find it on the website still and pm you asking for price.
Listed items can be directly offered on, a box would come up you put your currency in it send it out, the other person if online is sent a in game message showing the item and the listed currency that the buyer put into the box. It's all pretty well designed, and if that person isn't online, afk or just logged off they will see your offer next time they log in. It pops up with a notification

See this is an acceptable compromise.
Remove trading, balance drop rates around SSF.

It is a joke that crafting currency is the trading currency. If you use crafting drops for their purpose you only think of the lost value of items you could have bought. Genuinely, this is terrible design. Crafting does not even exist in this game, just identify and if godlike magic item put it into rare. You do not craft, you just gamble and the winners sell.

You use the gamble currency on endgame items that are already really good and if it fails then you sell it for a profit anyway.

What's a complete waste is using it on leveling items or trying to craft anything from scratch. And there are easy solutions for this but the team isn't interested I guess.
I thought the same thing about POE1. Why isnt it in game? It opens the door for look-a-like sites to steal account information.

NEVER Trust your friend when he says "Nah man, I use this dodgey website all the time, its totally legit bruh". If its not by GGG, DONT EVER TRUST IT. That includes all those scammy currency sellers and "Pay us your credit card information to level up" sites for WoW.

All that could be avoided if there was an in-game trading house.

This must be at the end of GGG's priority queue, just like fixing the Blood Mage, after all, PoE players have already gotten used to it, it's been 10 years with this system, we can deal with a game with an outdated trading system and incapable of put a native filter in the game.

People who play PoE with this archaic trading are such a tiny (but super vocal) minority in the grand scheme of gaming and a hell of a lot more potential players exist than these old farts stuck in the past.
Its crazy to me how people compare D3s REAL MONEY AH to a normal AH.
Blows my fking mind really.

An ingame auction house does the same thing as the website just without the bullshit of players fking around and the hassle of opening a website to find people to trade with.
trading is not fine... not one person who lies and says trade is fine plays vanilla. they all use trade macros and price checkers and all the other things the coddled pc players needs.

REMOVE ALL ADONS FROM POE 2 GGG. its a new game start fresh without all your cheats. ban all players using macros and such.
