Poe2 keep freezing my pc
Like the title sais, every second map I attempt freezes my computer completly.Only thing I can do is holding down the power button and restart my pc. Is there any way to fix this ? At the moment its not worth trying to play.

24H2 - Windows 11 update is the culprit. Well at least it was for me.
I reverted back to 23H2 and have not crashed since ! GGG can fix it on their end as Ubisoft had done it with their games for 24H2. Microsoft is also looking into it with developers |

So I had this issue the other day.
It was linked to my CPU temperature. It seems that PoE2 really hits the CPU hard, It might be worth seeing whats going on, on your end. | |
Same issue here.
But only with POE2, I even locked FPS down to 60, disabled nvidia reflex, lowered graphics settings. Random freeze. Sometimes I can play 4-5 hours without any problem, sometimes it freezes in 10-15 minutes. No issues with other games on maxed out settings (Witcher 3, Space Marine 2, CP 2077 and so on). Definitely problem is on GGG side. Will be waiting for fix. A friend of mine used to have an issue like that, but he was having this issue, when changing areas. What he does for now is disable the multithreading option before he enters a new area and turns it back on once the area is loaded.

Seem to have found a solution that helped.
Task Manger - Details - Right Click - Set affinity, remove poe2's access to 2 of your cpu cores, so if it crashes atleast windows can shut down the program without freezing completly. Havent had a crash whole day after doing this. |
