What does this game feel like to you?

To me it feels exactly like Grim Dawn. VERY slow. Doesn't remind me of Diablo at all. Heck barely reminds me of PoE1. Just looks like it.

I really hope this game can separate itself from Grim Dawn cause it feels like a clone right now.

Minus the ascendancy stuff, cause no Dev has made anything that unfun in ages.

Unfun,slow,tedious. Intentionally unlearning a lot of the lessons that were learned with PoE 1's design. Overdesigned to hell(zones and maps too big)

Also oversimplified,non-existent crafting system. They just took all the great things that made PoE great and then removed them, while also seemingly taking all of the biggest complaints people had and making some kind of weird souls-like knockoff Ruthless 2.0 game. ARPGs aren't about bosses. They're about killing a bunch of monsters to get more loot so you can kill them faster. And PoE is fun because there's so many fun build possibilities. Welp they made build diversity super constricting in PoE 2, basically saying "you can only play the GGG approved builds". Never tell your players how to play, and never force mechanics like hardcore death(1 portal per map) on them. That is a very quick way to make someone quit, and there are already many threads of people quitting over these or many other reaosns.

People would play a game for 16 hours a day if it was rewarding and fun, and the gameplay loop of grinding itself was good. Right now this is not the state PoE 2 is in sadly. And let's not even get started about the clearly unfinished endgame.

A more realized and better version and true version of what POE should be. Sticking to their core values and being more careful this time

Have you reach endgame breach and delirium?

It feels like a beta that's far enough along to be playable, but still has a lot of work to be done. It still needs a lot of balancing, and now with 100s of thousands of players hammering at it, GGG can start fine-tuning things.

Damn, people are more mentally unstable then I thought. Worst game ever? Gimme a break. If that was the case, you wouldn't whine about it on a fucking forum. You're just dissapointed that the game isn't what you expected and you don't have the mental capacity to deal with it.

And too slow? You probably have an extremely bad build then. Because my melee Mercenary is actually flying through the maps.

A really good beta of a game that has a bright future. Unfortunately it loses its identity in endgame at the moment and feels alot like PoE1, just with slower movement speed.

I'm really enjoying it so far tho.

/edit: also I'm not a huge Grim Dawn fan, so it doesn't feel like that to me at all.

You said it's like Grim Dawn. You have either never played Grim Dawn or never played PoE2. Or you're just being dramatic for some reason. Or you have't figure the game out yet.
