Permanent Quest Rewards are a bad Game Design
" Great defensive pivot, you sound like a person who doesn't have a lot of discussions with actual people in person, you stick to threads where you can derail topics with your super clever remarks that you expect people to understand are sarcastic. In reality your autism stops you from understanding that sarcasm doesn't translate in text, it's done with tone of voice and body language, both of which you wouldn't understand since your only communication is online. Take care lil fella |

You should calmly explain to her that this game is in the first few weeks of it's early access. Things change, and players are making suggestions and providing feedback are being listened to by the developers. Maybe if someone were to write up this as an issue, why it is, and provide a solution, it wouldn't be taken as just someone complaining.

if it makes you feel better chief ;)[/quote] You came here looking for smoke chief, don't be shocked you got it. Is this the best thing you can do with your time? Harass people on their feedback threads? You're the embodiment of the POE community, sweaty little trolls in which this is the only place they have a feeling of importance, so to keep that feeling you go around starting arguments with anyone who doesn't think the same way you do. Sad life to live, go try to ride someone else's di k bud I don't want you here as much as your family doesn't want you around for thanksgiving. |

Best thing to do is realize this decision while at the moment is permanent has very little impact on end game, the kind of min maxxing 90 or so percent of players will never want or need to do to see endgame content and be successful at it. If you are worried about + 5 to stats or 10 percent resist or a tad of stun threshold being a game changer you are going to be horrified by the item stat options on endgame stuffs. Again this quest reward is a tiny fraction of a boost at endgame that most will never need, and will probably be made changeable later on anyway.

" you're definitely right and I agree it will probably be addressed later on, but I think my feedback is valid and most agree this would be a change that hurts no one and helps many. It also doesn't give anyone an advantage, just a mechanic that was apparently promised not to be carried over from POE1, but was either due to a developer with a hard on for punishment, or just neglect. Either way it's a bad game design in my opinion, especially during the 1st campaign playthrough for people new to the ARPG genre. Some people were actually born yesterday and POE2 can be some peoples first experience, that should be kept in mind even for games that want punishingly hard end games, gotta scale up the impact of decisions and not give new players permanent stat choices when they don't know what their class needs yet. Thanks for the input |

Given that GGG has a history of allowing for ways to respec permanent choices in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if they do decide to offer a method for it upcoming. It would be a good idea.
