trade is unfixable, just make ssf better, problem solved

i think that you're probably right, I agree that they should make SSF un-migratable and give it significantly boosted drops akin to Last Epoch's system. I actually think I'd rather play SSF if drops weren't balanced around trade

uhm NO! i play ssf and you can shove those drop buffs way up m8, stay in trade pls

mimimi, trade is full of corrupted souls unfortunately xd

The one single sentiment here that is good is make SSF more rewarding. Rest is just complete imbalanced suggestions/nonsense.

I'm always baffled by these emotional illogical comments from people like OP and other users.
OP, you spend maybe 2h/day and then you expect to get the same stuff or currency as people who spend 5 times more than you.
Imagine working for 2h/day and then complaining that your coworker who works 8h/day shift gets more money, better things and more benefits and your suggestion on how to fix it; is to get more for less so you can compete with someone who works more than you. From what galaxy are you? In what universe do you live in? Again, really baffling to read.

Oh and don't forget to complain and cry about comparing game to IRL, I haven't had my dose of classic today yet.

You chose to be dad and full time worker and these are the consequences.
Maybe people who can't play as much should actually play, figure stuff and overcome obstacles at their own pace instead of hyperfocusing on streamers, other people and metas not even 2 weeks into EA of atleast 6 months of a new game. Then we would have less dads crying in forums how they are dads with full time jobs like it's a paragon of human being and streamers and sweaty boys are ruining everything for them.

At the end of the day it's about time and money. The more you spend playing the more stuff you will get. Finally, the game is business created to generate money (crazy huh) so it will cater to group of people who play the most and not dads that play weekly what others play on weekend.

Those dads have the income to buy your supporter packs. Basement dwellers do not, they live off of welfare checks. Currencies should drop left and right, a mirror per 5-10hours, so you can craft all day and upgrade your character.

Why cant they offer a cap on how many items you can trade eg. 10 exalted for 1 divine max, fix the droprate accordingly
or make unique items only tradable for other unique items, so if you have you thats no good for you, youre stuck with it unless you straight trade for the item with someone who wants what you have.

its really offputting seeing an item for x1 exalted orb, which you dont have. Then 24 hours after you get the drop and go to buy your item but within 24 hours the price has gone up by x50
So ill finally grind out x50 ex orbs or finally get my divine drop only to have the market 2 days later asking for x5 divines. and the endless cycle continues

This is why trading at all in these games destroys it, you cant design a game with infinite RNG and no way of obtaining a specific item, and expect somebody to play it apart from the people who already played POE1 for the last decade.

It was nice of GGG to make an awesome campaign but i dont see this game having much value to regular gamers other than the main story, its only been out a week and if content isnt clearable unless you can put in 12+ hours a day to keep up with the market. If the nerf a build or change anything the players who have invested weeks into a character only to have the game swap up isnt gunna end well for em

Any attempt of a govenrment to fixate the price of something.. always fails.. ALWAYS.. and in this game GGG is the government. Fixating prices just create "black market" pehomena. And no one will trade you by the official fixated rate.
Yeah good gear is expensive, since Diablo 2 good items are traded for the most rare currency(HRs).

Thats how free market arpg works.
The majority of players like me that actually have a life outside of POE1 or POE2 will never ever be rich in currency in game (I've never seen a mirror drop after years of playing), let alone complete the entire end-game at least once. It's always been an overly complicated extremely grueling excruciatingly painful unrewarding grind at the mercy of RNG.

If GGG is trying to appeal to a wider audience and make POE2 more accessible to casual players, they are still failing miserably and clearly haven't learned what drives casual players to quit.
RMT/Bots relisting everything for divines and magic find has ruined the game/market. 100%.
Aweee, you're an adult and posting something like this? I wouldn't admit that.

Be a good example. You're welcome to play SSF or maybe do some sweet helltides no that diablo 4 is free to play.
Step 1 is to self reflect.
And now you're seeing the issues with this games loot being poor, and everything requiring currency.

Start asking for them to fix loot. Not currency. It's not adding value to the game. It's a bandaid solution for the poor way that they did Loot in PoE.

i feel for poe2 in theme of currency

chaos become exalts

exalts become Divine

is all the same only the name change because exalts drop to act 3 normal now
play my first rpg on the intellivision :)
