This interaction with heavy stunning and exploding armor possibly was little too powerful if enemies got stacked, but as a melee it is immense risk to get in face of your adversaries, the explosion was payoff for these super slow attacks, not that op actually. Now this was definitely op if youre ranged and fast. It could have less penalty if skill is used as melee, although increasing area of effect range sort of can ressurect the build. Maybe increase range of explosion if it cannot chain now. Currently it is far superior to use molten blast with 3 projectiles, which is very ironic, that playing warrior as ranged is stronger and less risky. |

" Yesterday I did the boss at act 3 with the lava slowly approaching and chasing you to a deadend. I finished him half way through and never had big problems. Thanks to lots of strength and armour, I can facetank most of the time. And since I manage to dodge 80% of the attacks, I have enough time to heal back the 20% I couldn't dodge. Now guess what? Right after I finished this guy, a necromancer asked for help. I made a party with him and I did like double the damage and he got one-shotted 5 times. Without me, he wouldn't even have the damage to kill this guy on time. And even though he was standing far away, the long range slams and jump attacks finished this guy over. So in the end, you will not be entirely safe with any build, as long as you don't one-shot everything. And things that one-shot will definitely be nerfed as well. What I want to say is, I don't feel like having a bigger risk then other classes. I think bosses have a good variation of attacks. Sometimes it's way easy to dodge when your very close to the boss and sometimes it's easier to be far away. I can say this with confidence, because I played a stormweaver before warrior and didn't like the damage output at all. The warrior felt much better in that regard. |

Honestly referring to these as "bugfixes" sounds like a total lie to me.
There is no way it wasn't intentional for it to affect "inanimate objects", there are other skills in the warriors skill gem set that also do that. Think about what skills create those objects.. earthshatter? That skill is incredibly slow, it takes like a minute just to get half a dozen objects on the ground. As for the recursion? What is wrong with it being recursive? There are already multiple on-death effects in the warriors skill gem effects. If it was deemed 'op' why not just reduce the aoe size? The only way it can effectively recurse is if the players dps is sufficient enough anyways. I play a warrior and although I saw the armor break explosion as sometimes looking strong, I had not yet figured out how to get it to happen consistently so I wasn't even using it. "We fixed melee!" "warrior will be great again". Also GGG: Mace skills useless. Attacks ultraslow, animation locked, mana costs beyond insane, in a game where you need perfect timing and reflexes to not get oneshot. Oh, and good luck aiming ANYTHING, even with mouse and keyboard its random+. Btw, I was still using the basic mace attack in act 3. In case you want to know how crap the other skills are. What a joke. |

Just apply a 25-30% dmg reduction to the character while using any melee skill.

I got to 75 on my warrior and thought everything was "ok" started dying every 4-5 maps, struggling to sustain, got tired of slow mapping.
Rerolled to monk and it is a totally different game. Like, honestly. If you are here saying that warrior mapping is fun. Make a monk and report back. Hopefully axes/sword and the addition of marauder will make big scary man melee fun again. I miss having berserker/rage addict ascendancy already Warrior only feels good if you don't ever play anything thats actually good. Like i literally think chris wilson smiling and talking about how they fixed melee in poe2 was a troll and he has a counter that texts his phone every time someone dies in animation on a warrior.
