Warrior Titan got destroyed by the bugfix on armour explosion - Now what?!

Calling a build that relies on bugs "viable" is silly, at best. Game exploits make everything more "viable" and, quite often, bannable. So why even go that route?

On the flipside, though, melee in PoE2 does feel like an afterthought from the devs. Trials favor ranged classes and quite a lot bosses are easier to handle when you don't have to nose-to-nose them.
Warrior I dunno much about - barely made it halfway through act 2 with it. Monk is potentially fun, except his ascendancies feel more like one ascendancy (chayula monkey looking a bit bleak, if I'm looking at stats of the ascendency and the option on the tree/skills - but I might be wrong). And also, except evasion feeling a bit too much on the rng side, especially since monster animations may look melee but be actually spells or projectiles (as I have no other way to explain getting hit all the time with 75% evasion).

Whatever the case though, I wouldn't pick a build guide to follow, knowing it relies on a malfunctioning mechanic. Or, if I would, I'd probably not make a scene over that mechanic being fixed.

The ascendancy was only playable becuase of a bug, does that make any sense to you/ggg?

And why are you even talking about following build guides? There wasn't any indication that the entire ascendancy was going to depend on a bug before release, so you're just talking in hindsight?

Nothing about it makes sense..
Bump for visibility
Warrior feels terrible to play at the moment. I take 10 times more than any other class to finish a map.
So much for their promise of "fixing melee" in PoE 2. It's hilarious that the very first hotfix of EA was a nerf to melee.
PoE 1 everybody playing ranger

- GGG we gonna fix melee in PoE2

PoE 2 ranger is most OP it has ever been

- melee is even worse than PoE1 xDDD
PoE1 3.23 - the best league of all time (an absolute banger)
----
PoE2 0.2f - a bit better, but PoE1 atlas is a million times better than PoE2 atlas
I'm still using stampede with armour explosion and it's fine. You're being so dramatic. It was obviously fucked up exploding 5 rooms that you weren't even in by clipping 1 monster with the explosion.

You're absurdly exaggerating with "exploding 5 rooms" and now you're saying it's fine. No, it's NOT fine, when deadeye/archmage builds can do it way faster with the same budget, being safer, and all in all on pair on bossing which should supposedly be warrior's strength.

Clear is a lot worse without armour explosion not breaking armour and there was absolutely no justification to fix the bug without compensating in other ways.

Do you really think it's fair that the warrior which GGG promoted as THE starting build for the game was made absolutely garbage tier in a bugfix? I would understand if you're a SSF player, but in a game where the economy factors in, there's no justification to kneecap an entire class so hard
Okay, I'm going to continue mapping with my warrior using stampede to clear that still feels fine after the patch. Feel free to donate more of those tears, they add a delicious umami flavor to my soup.
Adding warrior to early access with only mace skills was a mistake.

Without the other weapon skills the class simply isn't far enough along vs. the rest of the classes and content currently available. It is in a beta state, everything else in the game is farther along, and it shows.

At minimum I think they should add a warning to the warrior selection going forward so new to the franchise players understand what they're getting into if they pick it.

"WARNING - While we think the warrior is in a spot where it can be played and useful feedback can be gained, it is significantly earlier on in its development compared to the other classes. We appreciate everyone that takes the time to play the class and give us feedback, however if you are looking for a more complete or polished experience in this early access we recommend picking a different class."

In terms of content to be released, I REALLY hope they are prioritizing the warrior's remaining weapon skills over everything else (in terms of releasing new content to early access), and this comes from someone that doesn't main warrior. I just tried it out, realized what a handicap missing the other weapons was, and immediately tried a different class.
