Hotfix 0.9.115d
- It seems two Base Types are not recognized by the game, without mention of GGG. - We've temporarily removed the base types and their Uniques from the filter: Diviner Cuffs (also the Base Type of the The Prisoner's Manacles Unique) and Coral Circlet (Only exist as the Base Type of Crown of Eyes Unique). - We've reported this to GGG and await their response. You will need to re-upload your filter to work. - We have re-enabled filter validation against 0.3.0. If you receive an error, please contact us on Discord or on the Official Forum Thread along with your .filter file, so we can investigate. Is there a way to automatically hide low level white items?
I'll try to keep it short but here's my problem: I don't want to hide all white and blue items because i want to craft on them, but i also don't want to craft on the low level items that are dropping in act 4. Something like "automatically hide white items that are 30 levels below me" would be ideal for me I know i can make a custom cosmetic rule for that but i'd have to manually adjust the level of items that i want to hide every few levels, which is not a problem really i just wondering if there's a smarter way to do that, like: I'm level 50, and the filter hides white items that are level 20 or below, then i hit level 51, and now it hides white items level 21 or below Last edited by Vyend#2601 on Sep 2, 2025, 1:08:22 AM

I got exactly such a system in the PoE1 version, called 'Leveling Gear Exceptions'. I felt like for PoE2 it was much less important; we can make do with just hiding per gear tier; and I never liked the 'implicitness', the 'hidden magic' of such an automatic system -- I only added it for potions for PoE2.
But I understand it's useful, at times I also notice I'd like it. So I think I'll port it over to PoE2 too. Probably for 0.3.1. Until then I'm afraid there's no easy way to do something like it. I'd just advise you to create a Custom Rule for the 'best in slot' items, especially weapons, you're looking for, e.g. I personally added an A-Tier Custom Rule for the 'extra arrow' bows since those would be the ones I'd always want to craft. Here's the tooltip text of the feature from the poe1filter website: "Shows weapons which are potentially useful while leveling through the campaign; optionally of the specified Weapon Class, and optionally with the specified linked sockets. Rare weapons of the specified class are shown with a Drop Level of maximum 20 levels below the Area Level, regardless of socket group. Magic and Normal weapons of the specified class and with the specified socket group are shown with a Drop Level of maximum 10 levels below the Area Level. Without the matching socket group they are shown until 5 levels below the Area Level. Optionally specify the socket group (linked sockets) you are looking for. For example, 'RRGX' would select all gear with at least 4 linked sockets, of which two are Red and one is Green. The X can be any colour. When enabled, on the Gear Tier List tab you can simulate which items would be shown as Normal and Magic, shown only as Rare, or potentially Hidden. In the first 5 areas, all Rares of any type are shown." I think that would be nice, i found that hiding by gear tier hides some items that i want sometimes
Another thing is, is it possible to have the tier list system used for currency for chance bases too? For example, a white stellar amulet was a valuable item back in 0.1 and 0.2 (don't know if still is) so you'd always want to pick them to sell to other players I know we have something similar to this but it was turned off by default at least for me, and apparently highlights any item that can be chanced, it doesn't check if it's a valuable item or not |

Please add a new scepter base to the Tier Lists

" In that case, for now, you could of course just drag the items you still want to the next Gear Tier! " That definitely still exists; you can configure it on https://poe2filter.com/tier-list/chance-bases. By default now I only select base types which only have 1 outcome as unique. But yea, I should probably also add Stellar Amulet, maybe just hardcode it. I'll add it to my todo list. " Yea, I turn Chance Bases off during the campaign (and in end-game, I offer it as a choice now on the Presets tab; enabled by default for PoE2, disabled for PoE1). I feel that during campaign people wouldn't care about them, not like we have chance orbs yet; and beginning players would all wonder why the hell those things get highlighted :D So it's a bit of a trade-off.
