It was a white/normal level 5 item, i guess i don't understand how it works because i tried both increasing and decreasing the level value but nothing changed

I'm level 22 rn, i set the area level to 20, and i'm seeing a normal item with level 5 as requirement

I guess the area level thing only works for ilvl? Which to me isn't enough because higher level bases have higher stats so they're the ones i want, i don't want a low level base even if it has the same ilvl as my character

The value you set is the level *difference* (hence 'Diff') between the item's drop level (when the item starts to drop) and the area level you're playing in (or, more correctly, the level of the monster that drops the item). By default for white items, that's 5, so e.g. in a lvl 20 area, you should only see white items which can start dropping at a lvl 15 area. In the gear tier list tab, you can simulate this by filling in an area level.

Or are you using caster weapons maybe? They are always shown regardless of level difference (by default, you can disable that behaviour too).

It wasn't a caster weapon, i see it happen with regular equipment (crossbow, helmets, body armour, etc)

In this example: A normal Iron Crown (arm/es) with level requirement of 5 and item lvl 20 shouldn't be appearing on an area level 20, because the difference between the base level (5) and the area (20) is too big

Is this not how it's supposed to work?

Because i'm really confused now, on the Tier List > Gear Bases page there's "Simulate Area level" box and when i put a value like 20 nothing seems to change, but when i put level 30 it greys out all items except 3

Does it mean that it's hiding everything else? The filter will only show a base of level 28 but not a level 33? Why though? (Using Helmets arm/es template)

What i was expecting was to show all items above level 28, not just the level 28 item and nothing else, even if i can't use a level 39 item i still want them to be shown, but apparently it gets hidden because of the "difference level"

I don't care about low level bases but i care about the high level ones

I didn't change anything in the "Auto-Scaling Leveling Items", it's using the default settings

I noticed a 5% quality magic item was hidden while campaigning in Act 4 (I've been picking them up to salvage), so took a look at the filter. I'm assuming it was hidden due to the slots option. I tried looking around on the site but couldn't figure it out, what part of an item does slots (2x3, etc) refer to? I'm sure it's something obvious I'm overlooking, but would like to know for future filter making.

I do not know if this is a bug or just I do not know how to configure it.

I want to only see lvl 81 or more expert bucklers.

I'm seeing all lvl 81 or more.

I do not seem to have a problem with the other types of armour, or at least I did not notice it.

You need BloodDragonRyu to list what base types of bucklers you'd like to see
So, the filter should look more or less like:

Show
BaseType "Gutspike " "Ancient " "Desert "#and so on with the other types
ItemClass "Bucklers"
ItemLevel >= 81
#whatever fancy font/color you want for them

It's the maximum size the item can take up in your inventory. So at 2x3 slots, it would no longer show items which take up 2x4 inventory slots; the idea being that you don't get anything more out of larger items when salvaging them for their quality -- nor from vendoring them; but larger items fill up your inventory more quickly, and round-trips to town cost time.

Hey, indeed it was a bug, really sorry about this one, and thanks for reporting! Fixed now!

Update v1.0.136c

- Fixed disabling 'My Jewel' filters (thanks Smooge).
- Fixed an issue where all Bucklers would get shown when you selected 'Elite' Gear Tier for Bucklers for 'My Armour' (thanks BloodDragonRyu).
- Fixed a bug when selecting 'All' Weapon Types or Defence Types on the Presets tab (thanks SOPPY).
- Removed the 'Hide all remaining gear' checkbox from the End-Game Content section on the Presets tab since it is presumably never disabled and only possibly confusing.
