For many of us this game is unplayable due to constant computer crashes. I have no idea id I like the game or not!
What kind if computers are you guys playing on where there are no crashes?
my pc is hot garbage by most standards, and i was having a bunch of issues at first but after switching to directx 11 (12 was the default) and some other tweaks, it's running super smooth with no issues.

If you can't handle fast and loose development, don't play an early access game.
this, very much this, 100% this, I think many people expect a 100% complete and polished game in early access.
I'am also concerned about the POE1 gatekeepers tranfering their poor attitudes across to this clearly different but same looking game.

This is the reward GGG gets for giving so much fun to gamers, scorn and hate.
Oh well, that's the culture we've fostered in gaming these days.
I hope in the future the community gets better, not that it was ever good.
But anonymity paired with entitled neckbeards has resulted in a community that has degraded so much over the decades.
People who have NO IDEA how gamedev works feel far too free to shoot their mouths off and talk with authority over how the game should be based on their naïve notions as a player because they don't want their flavor of the week, clearly broken builds nerfed.
It's testament to how GOOD the game is how angry people are. People can see how good POE 2 CAN be with a bit of polish, and that is frustrating. If it was just a flat out bad game no one would care!

POE is a fantastic franchise, and it has pulled the people with the most hours to sink into games, the biggest no lifers, the biggest neckbeards.
It's amazing the games they have forged, but it's sad this is how the community repays them.
We paid them with cash, they didn't do any of this out of the goodness of their hearts, they make 80 million dollars a year and the tencent deal made the founders rich.
People are allowed to give feedback, i am allowed to state that certain things annoy me in a feedback forum requesting feedback, and i got into the beta because i hit the $480 cap, what other AAA game does anyone spend a thousand bucks on?
If poe 2 is so brilliant why do you spend all your time on the forum defending it instead of playing it?

Dude, this is a live service game, you can't judge its success on not even its first week... Give it (at least!) a month and then we can compare the retention to a POE 1 game, and after that look at how many return for the first league, then may be you'll have more convincing data

It seems POE players are not informed about Diablo players. We have been longing for a rightful successor to Diablo 2 for quite some time.

Honestly, I’m somewhat shocked—not so much by the negative reviews (everyone’s entitled to their opinion)—but by the complete lack of respect for a dev team that has shown nothing but respect for its player base.

These guys are CLEARLY busting their asses because they love this game and this genre, it shows in the game. You don't create these advanced systems and progressions by accident.

Calm down, i can pretty much picture you so mad that you fogged up your glasses, typing up a storm on your mechanical keyboard so loud that your wifes boyfriend is telling you to keep it down.
It is simple, this is the game chris wanted to make, but the reality was it was not going to make any money so it slowly evolved into poe1.
This is a vanity project and is here to show us that they were right and that poe 2 is way more fun than what poe1 became, but unfortunately the Vision.tm is just not that fun for most players, no one understands why GGG hate melee so bad.
No one understands why river hags exist, no one understands why the campaign takes 60 hours of slogging unless you play a summoner.
Fact is this is a feedback forum and if you get so worked up over negative feedback you are going to have an aneurism before the game launches.

They need to nerf this shit early so the vast majority of players dont get used to broken stuff as the standard, tbh we paid $30 to play test and bug fix their game.

Stop being a sheep and don't follow "build guides". All these builds are useless until we get out of early access. OP build will get nerfed... Isn't it obvious?
Removing the gold cost to respec will do 1 and only 1 thing. Piss people off when they re-enable the cost.

I'm not pissed off so much as just losing enthusiasm.
Feels like if I manage to find a "fun" build that it's inevitable that GGG will nerf it into the ground with zero recourse.
Note: I said "with zero recourse", I'll bet that if GGG made respecs free, at least during EA, a lot of the anger will dissipate.
