Stop letting yourself be influenced. Not everyone hates it. Trust me. It's just that the people that don't are more vocal about it (ie, complaining). It needs some work, but it's gonna be great and we all should know that.

I'm guessing that almost everyone can find fault with some aspect of the game, if thats the low bar of first order thinkers 'Practically Everyone' is irked by the game i guess thats a personal issue, unless there is some survey ive missed somewhere that half a million people have filled out.

Link please? :) Nerfs are often used by developers to make sure that theres a reasonnable range of progression speeds for the massively variable numbers of builds, complaints about such things are usually made by people who dont fully understand how some of these things work. Condider a game that has 100 builds, and 3 of them are clearly overpowered, if anybody thinks that 97 builds should be adjusted so that the 3 overpowered builds are reigned in then i think theres some kind of defective thought process that doesnt understand how editing 97% of a games builds introduces more bugs, more problems and at the very least 30x the amount of work than it takes to edit 3%. |

" The thing is, by nerfing the "SRS flame wall ignite crap", they also nerfed all other trigger builds and screwed up shock, ignite and freeze. There are other ultra strong builds that clear complete screens out there. Just open twitch or reddit and choose your pick. There are plenty of builds stronger than these others that got deleted along the way because of the SRS. There was infinite amount of ways to handle this better, and they went with the worst possible option. |
