I wasnt playing meta build. I was playing frost sorc(my friend is lightning sorc). I wasnt stacking Cast of reeze cause didnt know that its possible and i was running 1 cof,1 coc, arctic armor and got slapped. I got slapped not only cause CoF just dont work right now even on 30% - CoC also dead and ive spend A LOT OF POINTS in my tree ,gear and gem setup to play crit build. So your advice a bullshit. The right advice- dont buy and dont play in this game.

yeah I have been watching videos and seeing the nerfs. Well why is GGG doing hotfix nerfs and not talking the time to actually do the work. Yes i am calling this out cause D4 right now sounding good right now. I hate finding something i like playing and it gets nerf not a soft well planned nerf but a hard build destroying nerf. Its not right to quote "Fair-To-Play" does seem like fair to me when my build and other players builds are getting ruined. Like come on this is bull games like D4 take time to nerf things not oh here is a hotfix in a hour. it takes for ever to get through the game and its hard to do it. I get its not POE1 but still you want a good game take the time and work something out. Like the supercharge slam on warrior i believe it is called it used to one shot bosses and take short time to charge. Well fact check me if I am wrong but the still is useless now. Now the cast on skills are all nerf to the ground and a few other things are about the same. Now i am not saying don't nerf find a BALANCE its called tunning just like a car tun it down to much and the car runs like crap tun it to much and you have to much power. The only way to get the perfect tun is to do small changes. now I get that isn't going to be read but the devs or anything i am not a streamer or anything like that but hopefully someone that has a voice sees this and gets this to the right people. I like Poe2 i don't like how its being handled i paid for the game so I can hopefully help and make a perfect game that people will enjoy and sometimes you got to put in a harsh word to get the message across

I half to fully figure out a new build due to all the cast on whatever skills being nerfed to the dirt. spent almost 300k gold respeccing and tryin things and still getting my butthole clapped in act 3 cruel can't progress any futher and i already out level the mosters i'm tryin to fight by almost 10 levels. Good job screwing all the fun outta the game GGG.

just to be 100% clear, a free RESPEC does not address this problem. Its a band-aid on a bullet hole. these changes need to be reverted.

this is really not a fair response tbh. Yes it's closed beta, it's early access. People are not mad because they nerf stuff people are mad because they nerf their current progression and then make YOU pay for it with hours upon hours of grind jus to respec. At the very least GGG should concider refunding peoples passives everytime a nerfhammer falls and obvsiously being EA it will fall many times until release.

People are not asking for free stuff just not to disrespect their time in this manner.

just wanted to chime in and say im also enjoying the hell out of the game :)

The mere fact is that you can't truly play any class the way you want, because you are bound to a few builds that everyone is forced into because support gems are secretly not useable but for select weapon types or very specific skills.

Example, on my Monk, I have a few melee gems (red ones) but they will not let me slot them into my melee skills. Yes, I get it that my staff strikes are converting 60-80% of phys dmg into ice / lightning, but that shouldn't negate these melee gems from working in them.

You can only use 1 support gem of each type, which really baffles my mind when I could use the same support gems in POE 1 to make some very interesting builds that synergized well.

It honestly feels like I am playing more of a souls game with very limited choices to how I want to play my classes. It's a real shame!

Respecs I cannot do, so have already lost out big on wanting to keep playing. This is EARL ACCESS, why are you making respecs so expensive?? I really hope the dev team makes major changes across the board for class balance, buffing classes (like warrior) and re-think this whole "no fun" allowed by forcing you to only use 1 support gem of each kind ONCE.
