Already wasted so much time on this. Just want to be sure

I am not sure why but there was a glowing statue there for ascendancy but it cannot be interacted. I finished the trial for the 2nd series of rooms and a different boss (2 statues) but no ascendancy points there. I tried going back to the act 2 in cruel difficulty Traitor's Passage but still no luck after killing her again.

+1 - Completed Trial Stages 1 (Rock Boss) & 2 (Two statues Boss) but got no ascendency points. Quest locked at Traitor's Passage & Balbala no longer drops any relics to complete task.
