Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

8. Mouse and Keyboard Controls:
o Movement feels slippery and imprecise when using mouse and keyboard. The character tends to slide after a command, making it hard to control movement precisely during combat.
o While WASD movement is somewhat better, the overall movement speed and responsiveness contribute to a sluggish feel.
o Suggestion: Tighten the movement controls and reduce character sliding. Make gameplay more responsive and fluid.

Thank you for your hard work, and I look forward to seeing how the game evolves!

With WASD movement in the game, GGG cannot stop/take-away/change the "slide" you are referring to when playing with Mouse/Keyboard. The "slide" is emulating WASD movement, allowing you to click a destination point and then return to attacking enemies while you continue moving to the destination point, which upon reaching it, you stop moving. The "slide" is mandatory.
Completely disagree. I absolutely adore the difficulty in this game. It's fresh, and it makes the game feel unique in the genre.

To those looking for more of a PoE1 experience, keep playing that as that game will continue to be supported & updated.

PoE2 is brand new, and the difficulty factor is what makes it great. I know there are millions of oldschool Diablo + Souls fans who adore this game as well.

Stick to your vision, GGG. You're on the right "path" with this game (pun intended). But DON'T compromise on the difficulty. To do that would be to gut what makes this game great to so many of us.
Smooth out the beginning where a player can get screwed by not finding anything or rolling anything good for their class, and I think my major grievance is handled if some balance passes handle some underperforming skills.

Leagues are going to add more loot and powercreep, it always does, this is the hardest version of the game we'll see, POE 1 did not start zoom zoom either

+1, suggestions won't matter, they know what they went for and had elites playtesting this but they won't pay the bills. Target a wider audience or die right here, make it fun instead of tryhard

I remember when Elden ring died and nobody played it because it was too hard for the general market

(oh wait)
Same here. Slog and boring. Every mob (except player's minions of course) is a hp sponge.

I think the boss design and difficulty are definitely cool and very impressive. The only real concern I guess is that I suppose that the harder things are however the more attached people could be to characters and gear, and I'm not so sure the way season/league works in POE 1 would appeal to many if you totally redo your progress on these hard and long acts + the farming after.

PoE2 makes me wish I could retroactively get my money back from the supporter packs I bought in PoE1.

Yeah, the game is terribly balanced right now.

I killed the executioner with different characters, and summoner witch wasn't easier or harder than warrior. It was pretty easy in both cases. If my minions are killed, good. Because I'm using support gem that makes them explode on death. My archer skeleton applies poison twice with another support gem, and my curse has doom explosion thanks to a support gem. All of this combined blows up anything pretty quickly.

Didn't know Elden Ring is a seasonal ARPG where you complete the campaign every 3 months

+1. POE2 is so far off the mark. Back to Diablo 2 I suppose, one of these days it will be surpassed. Maybe.
May 15th 2012 - The day the king of ARPGs died. January 23rd 2013 - A new king takes the throne.
Not sure why people that like this much harder rage bore fest keep suggesting everyone else find a new game. Why don't you all go play Dark Souls or whatever one of those games I don't enjoy in the slightest.

POE 1 for me was that I could enjoy my time and not have to focus on a freaking master class in how to do specific builds and could play with whatever skills I wanted to. The end game when I partook in that was where I had to sign myself up for PHD level courses and scour the internet NOT PLAYING the game to actually PLAY THE GAME. POE 2 is now THAT from the get go. That is not fun for casuals such as myself who play some of the end game. Those thinking this is going to maintain the same amount of a player base in this form are dreaming.

Those folks that like their Dark Souls will conquer this and then move on to the next challenge when they become bored of this. Those of us that can go through the campaign hundreds of times and still come back for more every season will not be here to support this anymore.
