PC pre-download?

I was lucky and able to download both steam and the standalone. Pretty decent transfer speeds(105.00.MB/s)
It took awhile before I could get the stand alone client to download the exe.

It's all go now, seventh error was the charm. I must have copped a decent connection that time, networx graph shot straight up to average well over 100 MB per second and it persevered for the few minutes it took to d/l & install.
The previous 6 errors some of em took a while to declare their faultiness, didn't amount to 1 gig; once it got going afer error #7 the gigs flew down fast.

Just keep going and eventually it will finish! I had 2 errors, but after those it went all the way :D

I was able to make it work only after I tried to reinstall the stand alone client and used repair option.

So do we know if the stand alone client will work for early access? if ive downloaded it, it should be fine?

the stand alone client will work for early access. In fact, Early Access is the reason why they have the stand alone client for download.

Anyone know how long the wait is for new steam keys? I was hoping to play on steam when I bought the support pack on GGG. I don't think I have the space, bandwidth and time to get both standalone and steam clients tomorrow.
