Steam Client keys
Me too!!
Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support! Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key Sorry, these keys are currently unavailable. Please check back soon! Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away. Hi, I got a message from GGG, that they have sent me another key for my lifetime support. I have already used my key on Steam, so the other one is that called "Third party Key"? It is written under it, that it doesnt give you an early acces, so what is that Key for?
"This key can be redeemed on the Steam store. Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." What does this mean? thx |

" Same here. I logged all my poe 1 playtime since 2016 within the Steam Client and while I appreciate the idea of having EA on the Standalone Client I didn't buy my 160 Dollar Support Pack, which you cannot buy on Steam, for that. The issue also is well known to GGG since at least November 28th. I think we deserve a real clarification on what is going on with the Steam (and Epic) keys and when it will be resolved instead of "we know the issue, please wait a few days". I do realise customer service is running on steroids currently but please give pepole some comprehensible answers amd timelines regarding this issue instead of stalling them. |

Just wondering, after buying EA pack did PoE 2 show up in your steam library?Since thats all it should do,key only unlocks PoE 2 in your library to download your game.It wouldnt give you EA if someone would have given you a steam key code.
Read post on steam, that someone tried using their steam client key into steam and it said they already owned the game and couldnt use the key again. So maybe its just automatic thing now. |

Still seeing this message on 11/30 as well. See two keys outside of Steam, but none for Steam.

" It means that the key will only unlock the possibility to start Poe2 from the steam client. Early access is unlocked for your account without a key or something, you don't have to unlock it yourself, it's given to you by GGG automatically. |

So the Third party Key for Steam will give early acces for my friend if i give it to him? Y / N? :D |

" Hi! As I understand it, No. The third party key will only unlock the PoE2 launcher on Steam/Epic but NOT grant access to the game itself. Your friend would still need access to game unlocked in his PoE account. |

" This is correct. There is a distinction between storefront client keys and early access keys. Without a client key, a player cannot add the game to their chosen storefront library to download, and without an early access key, the player account cannot play Early Access. |
