Its not something you have to do, but its by far the easiest way, atleast for me. All i had to do was switch some skills around. Even though im not prefectly specced i now got more survivability with some MF gear then what i had without it before the change. I have even dropped enduring cry completly.

Im sure it would be possible to solve most problems by upgrading my gear. But thats the hard way which is something i can't afford. Who knows maybe if i manage to get goodly 6linked or a Kaoms Heart i might go back towards more pure melee.

Until then ill play like this since now i can actually level and atleast risk to go for some IIQ/IIR.

Yup people think its a troll thread, but even though i wasn't 100% serious most of the things listed are sadly true.

Amazing in what why? In DPS yes maybe. Will it ever be better for their survival to be melee? No..
Even if you can become good with the propper gear, its only a small % that actually get to that point. And even then you will most likely have to do it at the expense of IIQ and IIR.

I bet there aren't that many HC players who wants to roll Melee just for the fact that they maybe could become badass if they manage to survive long enough to even get this amazing gear.
This is a very helpful thread...how about coming with a proper suggestion next time.

the problem with melee is mob damage, we all know it, if the mob damage is lowered then melee is easier again, thats why ranged is easier now, they rarely get hit by the massive damage mobs do.

And if you read the beta manifesto they are trying to find a way to buff melee damage reduction exclusively

Yes Reducing mob damage would help melee but it would also help none melee classes.
I mean many ranged classes only danger is when they are taken by suprise and some nasty high damage spike happens. It could be a Rhoa charge etc..
If all dmg is reduced even that will be smaller problems for classes with an already high survivability.

If a change is gonna be done it has to be something that only helps melee. Like dmg reduction if you have grabbed certain melee passives bonuses. Stuff that really aren't all to great for a ranged to use. Some kinda melee passive ability that grants enduracnce charges could also be nice.


PS. My suggestions where the propper shit. I posted advices both hard and easy solutions.
