They can design PoE 2 around instant trade tho.

Thats right.

New game iteration can allow new systems to fit "natively" in it without hassle and bugs for old, stablished economy.

The only question is ¿They will? Adding quality of life to trading is a development priority. It must be.

In these times, a good social/economic interaction, is the difference between a good game, an excelent game and a d4bad game. ;P

Who knows, apparently poe2 may use gold to have a form of instant trade of some sort - at least that was mentioned in one of the videos. But I'm not following news about not released games, as anything may or may not be - anything could be changed.
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

poe has the best trade system of any game I've played. It may be solved if there was a pause function in map to allow you to trade from stash while in the map still and pause the map.

Go play diablo 2 and make your mf games shako4ist, shako4ist1, shako4ist2 all the way to 100 sometimes. still no trade. poe gives you the availability to see everything for trade in the game at your fingertips. You honestly have no idea how bad it could be.

This post is a whole lotta nonsense.

There are pros and cons to literally every single trade system which is possible to implement, and GGG have worked very hard to come up with the one they think is best for their game. A game which they do in fact play, quite a lot; Neon alone has something like 30k hours in-game and used to be one of the top racers before he started working at GGG.

But how can anyone compare PoE to DIABLO of all franchises and say "they did it better, just do that?" Trade is one of the specific things Diablo is infamous for NEVER getting right - not one time across every single game in the series. Is OP trolling, or just revealing a lack of experience with the subject matter? Like it's not even a "did you play D4" question here because obviously you didn't. Did you even play D3? Or D2? Or D1? At what point did Diablo EVER let you actually exchange items with other players in a way which wasn't terrible? Because I played literally every one of those games and I'm pretty sure the answer was "NEVER."

This is a great take, and I'm certainly all for waiting until a game actually comes out to judge it as being good or bad. But if you were curious, the current implementation of trade in PoE2 is similar to what we have in PoE1, with the ability to instantly buyout items by paying an added cost of character-bound currency. Essentially, for every few hours of time spent actually playing the game you get to instantly buy one item.

Good post thank you.

Yes you can compare the games poe and the diablos. I talked about more than only trading part of the games. The look, atmosphere, the feel, the story, the characters, the charisma......I do agree that poe trade works in way designed for poe. Its not terrible. But it is terrible when a player is not online and maybe for a long time and he has an item you really desire. Maybe he has no intention to continue play the game. For example in standard its items which is super old and the owner has quitted the game and its still up in poe trade. Also in poe its insane amount of different consumable items you need to play the game and items like this should be possible to trade in a easier way, as in my post i wanted fertile catalysts ( should be easy to get imho, i try again today or i play some sports game or whatever ). I played d3 with that ah, i hated the rmt part of it but the regular one was imho very good and something like that could probably be improven by ggg because they are pretty good when they do it right which they also do alot. Yes i critize poe because the potential is so high with poe. One of the biggest problems with poe is just how much stuff is going on at the screen, it just looks silly, and the colors, the childish look kinda. I think the Diablos dont have this issue as much.

And the dream would be the offline version which i pointed out that it must have a editor for the game, it just must or i personally wouldnt buy it without something where i could easily in-game adjust freaking everything. And now we dont even need trading at all. This would be awesome for many arpgs in general.

So many poe players saying d4 is so bad. Is it really, i havent played but i want to try it atleast ( i played d3 a lot though pc and ps3 ). It is probably pretty good for what it was designed for, a less complicated game for a more relaxing approach to a very complex game genre that many players in general dont bother with. The diablo games has probably helped ggg too, people starts often with d4 and then come to poe after "been at school" playing Diablo 3 or 4. Personally i think D4 looks awesome and is probably super fun for a couple of years atleast. For me i probably never would have pleyed poe if i didnt played d3 first because i probably would have been more of the gamer type that plays many different games instead of mainly 1 or 2 as i have been doing mostly last 10 years or so. ( seriously how healthy is it to only play 1 game for mental health sake ). Poe and many other arpgs would probably not even existed if it wasnt for d1 & d2. Hate all you want but i am not going too.
I try to be more neutral, Poe is better at some and the Diablos is better at other things.

If PoE would be offline game, I wouldn't play it. It would ruin it.

But if you want and never tried d4, why not give it a go? It is in Game Pass. You may find a boss, start fighting it for a minute or so, then some minmax player would come and oneshot it. Or fight world bosses with bunch of other players and kill it before you even use a skill. Game is simple, loot is raining, no need to edit the game to kill everything - might be your jam. Check the trade there.

But if you still think you know better than GGG what is best for poe - send a CV.

POE trade is fine.I get it end of league its hard very hard to get low value items.Could it use afew improvments sure.I for one have made hundreds of trades this league alone excepts for afew hang ups they all went well. You just have to except and learn how to use it to best fit you.
I also have many hours in standard and aldo trade could use some improvement, it isn't as bad as people make it. Even at end league period i can get mostly from trade what i need.

Agreed. More people should consider having listings so they are on the receiving end of whispers instead of being the one going to others. Like the reddit people who take a screenshot complaining about buying divines after whispering 50 people. Why aren't they selling that directly instead? Makes trading for currency, in this instance, a little more time consuming but also more convenient. Just keep playing maps and the whispers will roll in.
