Pure One Hander and off-hand empty character / skill / passives
We got dual builds, we got 1h and shield and we got 2 hander.
But one hander and off-hand empty is not possible. I mean possible, but no one would do that because they would lose many slots, many stats etc. In order to make this "style" a viable option, maybe an altogether new character needed. Something along the lines of a samurai. I would say duelist if there wasn't a duelist already ^^ Or maybe, with new skills and passives duelist class can be specced like a real duelist. If there were off-hand empty bonuses from passive skill tree that mostly boost speed, parry, high accuracy, high crit chance and maybe even extra reach it would be awesome. Yet only to that point, so you can make up for the shield or another 1h weapon you can get. This, if properly done, also can give new ways to build your shadow, a 1 dagger and off-hand empty build. Just adding a small idea for an active skill;
Perhaps a 'throw sand' ability or 'dirty fighting' line of abilities would suit this sort of build well? ^_^ |

It could have two lines of skills suited for it. One that's dirty fighting, based on speed and accuracy debuffs; and the other would be dignified combat based on speed and accuracy buffs for you!

Good idea. Maybe just add new swords, like new unique rapier Tipua Kaikohuru,but not unique of course. " Yeah, that also might work. Rapiers being piercing large (more like long but whatever) weapons and dual wielding them just doesn't make sense anyway. I imagine him/her charging and poke, poke, poke. Then jumping back and poke, poke, poke more. Hard to stun/slow and maybe with movement speed aura. And then when there's just more than a few monsters coming at her, she turns around herself and slashes everthing with flashy move, just like Zorro does when baddies surrounds him. There is a two-handed one-hand unique though, but yes otherwise this isn't really viable at all.

The only way I could see this being done is if they made a keystone that added some unique bonuses to using one-handed weapons and also made it impossible to equip a shield.
They said I was mad! They said it couldn't be done! But now who's mad?!?!
